I’m pretty sure there are like 2 or 3 regular people who’ve gotten their Braptors and maybe 30 or 40 people who’ve gotten other assorted Broncos, but I, too, have been among the Braptorless/Broncoless for quite some time, just like the majority of you. I’ve tried to not give a s##T thus far, as having to continue to drive my M850 is a hardship I am happy to bear, but I have finally arrived at the point where I’m like, WTF. Unlike many of you, I was not in the order banks at day zero, hour one, and placed my reservation for a Sasquatch Outer Banks in May of ‘21. They took my order in 10/2021 and I lucked into a Braptor order 03/2022!

In any case, I’ve learned a lot from you guys about the TSS that is Bronco production from the very beginning, and I’m happy to join your ranks of the continually misled and disappointed!🙄. What could be worse than a car dealer in terms of getting accurate and honest information? A car manufacturer! Who knew?! I’ve built and birthed several bespoke BMWs in my short tenure as a Motorsport enthusiast, and I’m presently offended by Ford.

Anyway, before I further digress, just a couple questions… What is “blend date” and what is the general consensus among you Day Zero, Hour Zero, Golden Ticket holders who still don’t have a production date regarding likely production windows for regular shmo’s like me who showed as late as I did to this party?

Haven't seen any Braptors delivered to anyone on here. I'm sure they will post tons of pictures and their experiences asap.

"Blend date" is basically the start date of final assembly. Traditionally it is the date the vehicle frame meets the body of the vehicle, or when the vehicle is "blended together". But in the era of modern vehicles with unibody frames, that's not super accurate anymore. Easier just to think about it as the start date of final assembly.

It'll be listed on the top of your window sticker once you got it. In this case of this vehicle, blend date was April 5th, 2022

As for your other questions... it's pretty obvious Ford is behind on Raptor production. They haven't said anything yet, but I'm pretty confident they are going to bump a good chunk of the Bronco Raptor order holders to 2023MY.

That m850 is a tank, weighing more than a lot of Broncos. I couldn’t do it.

Sorry to hear you’re one of the lucky ones who isn’t yet scheduled, there’s room for you with us at the bar.

We have two...wife got a day one reservation and (did not use res) placed order for 21 base 4door, sas, 2.3 auto, hard top, aux switches, keypad and bumper only options , converted to 22 and probably 23 soon. Put in for golden ticket with reservation we still had and got it, placed Raptor order and have no production date for it as well. So we are waiting on two Broncos. We’ve never even received any of the bronco gear/swag that some seem to get.

Date doesn't matter now for Raptors as far as Ford is concerned. It all comes down to whose Raptor your dealership selects to get built next. This isn't the normal Bronco selection process where the dealership sets a priority code and "hopes" Ford selects your build.

Specifically, this is from my experience, the Ford Regional Rep, or whatever the hell they are called, asked my dealership "which Raptor to build next" from the allocations they had. Mine was selected and I am not a day 1 reservation holder.

So while a dealership could go by reservation number, they could also go to the one that has been involved the most in the process, or paid a markup, or the dude that brought them donuts. It all depends on your dealer and if we even see another Raptor scheduling.

Wow, thanks for the insight. Bad news for me since I’ve done none of the above. Oh well.

Did you get one of the dealer allocations or did you just order one from a dealer. If you didn’t get an actual allocation your order wouldn’t get you anything

I don’t know. They called me in march to tell me someone backed out of their Braptor order so they converted my SAS OBX to the Braptor. Kind of makes me think it was allocated.

Stock up on more alcohol you will need it. The unscheduled Braptor orders line is fairly long at the moment and zero built have left the factory as it has not met OKTB release status (Ok To Buy).

How do you know how long the line is? Also, how does one get to be a GT holder?

I personally don't but there is enough communication noise out there that says its long which on a approximate 2000 vehicle target is a bit troublesome. The GT program was offered to early reservation orders that were not scheduled up to around Feb of this year. My original 21/22 Badlands order was never scheduled when Ford went through the Braptor hand raiser program, my order was selected for conversion from a MY 22 to a MY 22.5 order. The MY22.5 (Job 2) orders are the Braptors, Everglades, and HOSS 3.0 orders. You got part of the other bucket, any hand raiser GT orders that were not converted were offered back to the dealership to select another person. There was also a separate dealer allocation that was given out for dealerships to do what they want with them as "New" Braptor orders.

My wife and I have a bet on whose vehicle shows up first, my Braptor or her I4M50, at first I thought I had it in the bag since my wife got bumped to '23 but I'm not so sure anymore.

If you get your WBDO (Build/order sheet) from your dealer you can use the Ford Chat to check if you have an allocation however, I would assume if they converted your old order to a Raptor on your account you likely do.

Based on the current scheduled vin's and since it appears they started at 0001 we are at around 1800 Raptors who have a build week, though those keep getting bumped. The original estimate was that Ford had planned to build about 3500 Raptors so about half if that guess is accurate. The forums do seem to have more unscheduled Raptors than scheduled Raptors though which is odd and could mean nothing or could mean they planned to build a lot more Raptors than we originally thought.

I guess we could do a pull to see who has a build week/vin yet versus who doesn't and get an accurate count but I'm too lazy to manage that kind of post.
