Now that I've decided to buy the Bronco and the dealership is saying they are too busy to get to it until Friday, I'm way more impatient. Makes me envious of all you who have been able to pick it up the day it arrives. A week long wait for them to do a pre-sale inspection is annoying!

I finally got my Railcar number this morning. CSX Transport TTGX973711. Left MAP in Wayne, MI at 12:31 AM on 8-3-22 and will be in Blue Island, IL by 7:00 PM on 8-6-22. No ETA.

That's so weird. You've been shipped for a while now so I assumed we were in the same set of rail cars leaving.

It’s definitely possible. My status hasn’t updated in over a month. I did reach out to the Bronco Support/logistics team and they are supposed to get back with me today or tomorrow. But I’m going to pretend ours are on the same train and track it and HOPE that it really is there. Otherwise I’m going to lose my shit on Ford and make someone cry!!!

As posted earlier, I picked up my Bronco yesterday. Of the many vehicle purchases I’ve made over the years, dealing with Serramonte Ford regarding my reservation, ordering and final delivery, although frustrating at times, ranks above all others. Sebastian, their sales manager, arranged an appointment to finalize the deal and prep the Bronco for delivery. I was met at the door of the dealership by Sebastian with a warm reception. When I asked about my previous arrangement with Sean (who happened to be out of the office), Sebastian told me not to worry, X-Plan pricing would be honored. All that was left was to complete the paperwork and I’d be driving my Bronco home. Sure enough, I was never pressured to purchase an extended warranty (I had already secured one through Granger) or any of the many gimmicks dealers often offer to increase their profits. The only thing I had to do was remind Sebastian of my price protection certificate that further lowered the cost of my Bronco by $975. Sebastian then informed me Ford would send me a check for the remaining $2000 of their price protection guarantee after confirming I was the original reservation holder on 7/14/2020. Needles to say, I was one happy camper. I highly recommend @Gloff and his team at Serramonte Ford. And, by the by, my Bronco is awesome and my wife absolutely loves it.

Was home for a little while, went back to dealer for ceramic coat and they just texted me they need to repaint the doors to correct for factory blemishes
