the disqualifier of Wildtrack for me, was the terrible digital camouflage interior. I'm not some yahoo pretending to be some tactical military bro ... I don't want camo on my seats. I went with the Badlands Sasquatch
What’s camo the cloth? I did build and price for leather and looked like black onyx and sandstone I think. I didn’t see camo I might have missed that

To me the HOSS 3.0 steering rack and tie rods are worth more than any interior or auto sway bar disconnect...honesty I think the badlands is way overrated (who really hoses out their vehicle?) for hot sticky vinyl.
Me. I hose it out after trail riding. Directly wipe everything off/down afterwards and it looks like new again. That's the beauty of the washout and MGV. It's not for everyone, but it is for some.

Do you ever have any issues with water getting trapped beneath the floor and the bed of the bronco? Asking because I saw a video of a guy having to pull up the flooring and use fans because water got stuck, which made me think that might smell bad after a while and had me second guess MGV

I have noticed a bit of water under the flooring, but run it with the doors off, so it dries up quickly.
I leave the drain plugs out for a few days as well while driving it around.
I am a big fan and proponent of the attempts made to make the interior as rugged and user-friendly as they are.
There are a few things they definitely could have thought through or done better, but it is many times better than carpeted flooring and cloth seats for ruggedness and utility-level use/cleaning.
And it feels and looks nice.
I feel it's 95% there. A few tweaks to the design of the floor drains (the channels right at the door don't drain) and bit more thought about sealing around the drain plug openings would go a long way.

If the badlands and WT with HOSS3 made sweet love and had a baby and then took that baby and injected it with steroids you would have a warthog.

get the warthog as it has all the parts

lol

Ok cool thanks for explaining that, I did think the washout seemed very convenient and easy to clean MGV seemed like it would hold up well. Seems like a very nice option then still.

The Wildtrak interior is dumb (I’d prefer all black) but doesn’t look bad in person. The camo is pretty subtle. I’ll get black seat covers soon for mine.

Only the cloth interior in the Wildtrak comes with the digitized camo. It's hard to tell on the b&p images that there is a Bronco in digital pattern.

here's a good pic of it from Bronco Nation

Instead of offering the Badlands and Wildtrak, Ford should just build one or the other with the option between the two interiors, and optional Hoss 3. Disconnect standard of course.

So I live in FL as well and many say that you will never need the sway bar disconnect. I have used it over many obstacles and it comes in very handy. It isn't just for rock crawling. Nothing like being able to press a button on the dash and it disengages instantly. The Wildtrak with the Hoss 3.0 finally has something over the Badlands but suspension is an easy (but expensive) swap out. The steering upgrade is nice but if you really require the steering upgrade then you are wheeling decently hard. The washout interior is huge to me. Dogs, spills, dirt, mud, whatever... I can take a hose to it which I have.

I believe OP said he was getting a 2-door so if you leave your hard top home and being FL it spontaneously thunderstorms... how's that carpet now? It really comes down to preference. One thing to really think about is when you get your Bronco, what do you plan to upgrade.

Thank you for this. The interior is definitely a massive consideration and I’ve got the rubber floors in my Bronco Sport and love them, especially for all the sand I get from the beach. I had always planned on ordering a Badlands but once the Hoss 3.0 was announced for the Wildtrak I guess I just started thinking into it too much. From all the comments and suggestions I’ll end up staying with my original Badlands plan.

If you're not going to rock crawl regularly, the BL is probably overkill. You can get the WT and manually disconnect the sway bar if needed.

I have bounced all over on my build. Started OBX, shifted to WT (I'm one of the few that likes the topo cloth seats), but will reorder as a BL. The WT has been turned into a OBX SAS. I saw a BL SAS about a week ago and absolutely loved it. I don't need the disco but I like the build.

I thought I'd hate the topo cloth, but the pics really make it look baaaad! In person I really like them.
