What’s so special that they cost $599 each? Seems like quite the cost for a 17” rim.

Has to do with materials used and the process of how theyre made. That price is surprisingly cheap since most HRE car wheels start about $1000 and go up from there.

You are correct. The quality control and design process is impressive to say the least!

Quality wheel made in Japan (no slave labor) and not China (slave labor). Does that help?

Want good shit gotta pay for good shit. Unfortunately, took me through my 20's and half way into 30's before I figured that out.

flow formed wheels are flow formed wheels but the HRE name carries a premium

What trim level is this Bronco? The grill looks like a Big Bend, but the wheel flares are painted like an OBX. Both easily changeable, I know. Couldn't make out the interior.

I’m all about you get what you pay for but I also know that I don’t need to spend that kind of money on a set of rims that can be damaged just as easy as any other. If you want to do it then more power to ya. They look nice and I’m sure they probably are great just not for me.

So you're saying higher paid workers results in higher quality products? I'd like to see the study that proves that, because you won't find one.

I've had mine on for two weeks. I bought the FT1's in the tarmak color (black) because I couldn't decide on another color and knew that the all black OEM wheel looked good. They come with 0 offset so they stick out a little over 1.5" from OEM (if you are installing 315 70 17 tires). My reason for the purchase was to have a replacement set of wheel/tires for the OEM Goodyear's immediately on the Bronco's delivery. I went with BFG KO2's because of experience with 4 previous sets on different vehicles. Always wanted a set of HRE's, figured they would be on some sport car not a SUV. Quality is great on these, I'm very satisfied.
