Have any of you installed a Fumoto Valve and replaced your oil drain plug?
I have these on other vehicles.
I understand the Bronco 2.7 drain plug is plastic and someone on here was testing (for Fumoto) a new plastic drain valve.

The Fumoto Web Page, searching for a 2022 Bronco 2.7 shows these 4 Fumoto Valves:
https://www.fumotousa.com/cars-pickups-ford-2022-bronco-2-7l-v6-turbo

What are you using? Model#

Thank you.

Fumoto has abandoned their 2.7 application. I was in their beta group.

The only application they have is for the 2.3.

Their web page (link above) has 4 models they say work on the Bronco 2.7

I use the fumoto and it’s pretty great. I have a Badlands so the drain valve is protected. I still carry the OEM plug just in case.
On the 2.7 engine?
Which model# are you using and did you need to add the base extension?
Thanks!

Will the long nipple version work on a 2.3? I don’t have a bronco so I’m not able to look myself

2.7 has a plastic drain valve so you can’t put a metal valve on it. If you do you will destroy your plastic oil pan
My 2012 f350 diesel has plastic oil pan and a fumoto, 12y of no issues. I've used them on every vehicle for the last 20y with no issues.

Please confirm that you have the 6.7 powerstroke diesel. If yes, then you have a metal oil pan. Ford did not use composite/plastic oil pans until 2015 (F150)

No, I do not have a metal pan on my 12' 6.7l.......

Here's the upgrade metal pan to replace my plastic one if needed. Not sure where you're getting your info but it's incorrect.

my apologies. You do have a composite oil pan. Can you take pic of the valve you are using?

I have been running fumoto on a dozen cars over 20 years and I don't see how a metal drain valve will thread into a plastic oil pan.

Please see below email. I was in the Fumoto beta test, testing their plastic valve and Fumoto shut it down.

I'm not with my truck but will. Its a replacement plastic plug with the fumoto threaded into the plastic plug. Some guy was making them years ago and I bought a couple.
