I swapped my standard BB rims and tires for BL rims with 275/70/17s Wildpeaks. Perfect daily driver for me. No off-roading. I was OK with 32s. I just wanted something wider.

KMC Mesa 18x9 w/ Falken Wildpeak AT 275/70/18. I had originally put the tires on the stock wheels, but decided the stock OBX wheels just didn't do it for me.

+18mm on the offset and the actually sit almost flush. If you had it measured, you might find it sticks out a tiny bit, but it's not noticeable. Left the crash bars in too. They're close, but no rubbing.

Might as well spam this thread too since it just popped up Just an OE upgrade but absolutely perfect. OBX 255/70/r18 to Badlands optional 285/70/r17.

What are you guys using on the rear spare to take up the gap to the rubber bumpers ? Mind over matter I guess.

I picked up some 1"diameter rod and some rubber caps for chair feet. Trimmed the caps and cut the rod to fit the gap to keep a bit of pressure on the tire. Took like 20 mins and ruler.

So just helpful info. I purchased a hub ring set from www.lugnutguys.com they came pretty quick and the ones for our trucks with Methods 93.1-106.1 were only $11.50. Also I read somewhere in here about using a black racquetball for the spare tire to take up the gap between the tire and the tailgate. Also worked perfectly.
