Here is my build journal. A little background, I traded in my Ford Raptor when an opportunity to order a Bronco came about after someone backed out prior to it being picked up to be made so I got to get what I wanted. Pepe is a Cyber Orange Badlands Sasquatch Edition with MGV seats and floor drains so I can spray him out after a weekend in the mountains or the desert. I started with the base protection:

1.) Preferred Plus Protection - Covers Tires, Rims, Dent Repair (up to 1k per incident, no limit on # of dents, key replacement, and nationwide 24 hour roadside assistance)
2.) Extra Maintenance Plan - 7 years/75,000 miles with $0 deductible which besides extending the bumper to bumper warranty, includes all oil changes, wiper blades, and primary maintenance checks at every 10k miles.
3.) Permaplate Windshield Protection - spray on protection, up to $5,000 in windshield replacements (about 5 at $1k apiece)
4.) Permaplate Appearance Protection - it covers the inside from spills and stains, outside it covers insect damage, bird droppings, fading & oxidation, sun damage, headlight & lens fading, tree sap, and hard water spots
........All of the above was $1500 added on when I purchased Pepe.

Nice mods! Look fantastic…I was horrified at first that someone’s pepe needed another plastic surgery. Not a pond I want to go fishing in!

Oh man, so nice. I just ordered my Rock Slide Engineering Side Steps (my order is a 4D BL in Cyber orange as well!). How do you like them so far?

@PAWBronco What are your thoughts on Ford's Cargo Security Enclosure? Good quality and fit? Easy install? Worth the money? Any info you can provide is appreciated as I'm considering getting the same.

Yes, so far so good. I got it because I thought I was going to go topless for a month down south where I have to go for work. It turns out the weather will be too warm to be topless. The pro's I've found with it:
1.) It secures items with the top or doors off. If someone hits the unlock button on your door for instance, it will NOT open the back. The FOB has to be within like 4' of the rear door for it to open. Ford did a nice job with this security feature.
2.) No squeaking. It was a pretty simple install and they did a good job putting rubber ends on them to prevent unwanted noises from vibrations.
3.) Install was pretty easy. I'd say it took my son and I about 30 min to put it together. I watched the Buttercup video on YouTube on their install a few times to get a feel for how it went together.
4.) The box is heavy because it is steel.
5.) Gives you Molle on the sides in case you want to attach stuff to it. I haven't yet but it's there if you want to.
Cons:
1.) The top when putting it back down goes back and forth slightly so sometimes you have to jiggle it a bit to align it. However, I rarely open it because it is pretty high and therefore, I just put groceries or whatever underneath and have no problems getting to them.
2.) It prevents you from folding down your seats and putting something long inside. You can still fold down the seats but there is a backing behind the seats preventing putting a piece of lumber in for example. However, I have had no issues with this. The unit comes with tie downs you can see in the picture. I just keep the back window open and tie it down on top of the unit.

Overall it works well if you have the top off or the top + doors off to give you security for items.

First off congrats on your order. You will love it I'm sure. I traded in my Raptor for it and have zero regrets. I'm not that concerned with the gas mileage because as I look at it, it's still much better than what I was getting with my Raptor. However, the one thing I do miss is the 36 gallon fuel tank. I wish the Bronco's was bigger and more cup holders. Other than that though, it's awesome.

As for the step sliders, they are super. My wife is...ahh...vertically challenged shall we say. It was one of the first mods she asked me to put on. My dealership was doing a large buy of them so I got in on it. I would opt for the extra $75 light option. It's nice at night for others to have the step area lit up. There is a switch (it comes with your steps) that can be mounted by the driver's side door (I had it put kind of by where the headlight dial is). You can then flip the switch and turn off the sidesteps if you just prefer the rock rails to get in and out and just turn it on when you have short people getting in your rig. I've really come to like them though. They're very sturdy too. They can take the full weight of the Bronco on either one of them and then some so they are pretty damn heavy. Definitely solid steel.

Good luck with your order!

How do you like the grab handles? Any personal concerns with weight limit on those bolts they connect to?
Nope. I'm 250 lbs and I was testing it pulling up my full weight on it on my way back from the gym. Not a single thing loose. It is very snug and seems very secure. I'd definitely recommend them if you want a grab handle.

My 3 boys got me a tire cover for Father's Day. It looks bad ass and not like every other one. It's also for a 35" tire.
