I'm guessing that Ford isn't listening to the phone reps any more than they are to us.
Ive lost some energy to chase these executives on Twitter. The articles the last couple days made it easy to respond to/ retweet. Im not giving up hope but clearly Ford has decided no communication is better than saying they have no idea when theyll finish our rigs. Too risky for them to commit to dates in writing as shareholders will want to also hold them to the fire on timelines. Without a secondary line, I dont see how Ford gets through the cars with haste. Plus now they can give generic, non-specific responses such as “most of the inventory has been cleared out.” If anyone questions those statements with photos of Ice/Dirt Mountain theyll contend it’s mostly Spring additions.

Although the articles were more critical, the opening paragraphs still give Ford a pass on chip shortages. Im not even sure mass cancellations on aged inventory will scare them since too many orders still in line for production.

what stage of grief/ denial am I in? Lol

I am now annoyed my salesman couldnt even respond to my bitching email about Ford that I sent a few weeks ago. I didnt lay any blame on him nor the dealership. He could at least acknowledge me ala Roman Reigns.

Or the dealership
I was irritated by the writer of the article giving Ford a pass due to chips too.

I officially cancelled my order today, going to pick up my deposit tomorrow. Unfortunately I like my dealer and I still want a Bronco but I don’t want to reward Ford for their poor handling of these January builds.

At least if I decide to go with another Bronco I won’t be deleting anything to get it sooner and who knows, maybe i’d get it before my January build shows up for some unsuspecting customer.
I'm not far behind you. If my Bronco does not show up by the end July EDD (yeah right) then I'm out. F*ck this company and anyone who is a bootlicker for Ford.

i hear you- it's amazing how bootlickers will say:
but covid
ford doesn't owe you anything
you're not the customer, the dealership is
first world problem
you must be a millenial who wants it NOW!!

ford does owe us decent treatment if they want to be in the business of selling things to us when this is over
it's not a first world problem, it feels more like we've turned into a third world country when you can't get a car
wanting it NOW?! it's been 2 years!

I'm from the 12/20/21 build week group and could not agree more with these most recent posts here.

My Bronco has been built since 2/9/22 but nothing from Ford or my dealer. Every week I see the EDD get updated to the next week.

I'm done. Ford can keep the $100.

I ordered a used 2021 Tesla Model Y with 7,346 miles directly from Tesla.

Getting 200 amp service (needed it done anyways - the insulstion from my current service is gone in some areas. This was cited on my home inspection) and a 60 amp 240v line ran so when my home charger comes in so I'll be able to mount it and connect it myself.

I cannot wait. As I type this, my vehicle is coming from Texas to the closest Tesla service center to me (Wexford, PA).

My 2006 Toyota 4Runner needed $3,000 last year to pass inspection.

I already made up my mind that I was not dumping more cash into it this year. Inspection is up at the end of May so I told myself, no Bronco, I'm moving on.

Maybe some day I'll have one for offroading and going where the Tesla can't.

But for now I'll be enjoying the quiet cool new tech.

Best of luck to you all. I hope your Broncos come soon if you decide to wait.

You can order anything new but, anything from the past order will not transfer. You will be, "just another new customer", with no price protections, etc. You will be starting from ground zero with any new order.
Honestly though, if I was still stuck by the time this rolled around, I’d do it. Why should you be punished with a truck that’s sat for a year, rusted, had half assed work done.

I’d say “stick ford with it” but they’ll just sell it to some other sucker.

good for you- so happy to see people getting out of this abusive relationship- your model y is the only one that could probably pull me away from this bronco- as far as off roading:

That such bogus excuse. Don’t make a product if u know its not going to be 100% complete. Gaurenteed if they shut down 1-2 weeks in January without making product we would all be in good shape. We know this bc april/May groups are being built

Sorry to hear man. Yeah @Ford Motor Company can suck it that's for damn sure. Ignoring the broncos on hold while shipping out may broncos already and they are already at dealers. Been one shit show from start to finish and they are about to start building the damn raptors and opening up new orders in August . I wouldn't be surprised if August orders ship out before my order I made 2 years ago. Once again @Ford Motor Company can suck it. Jimmy can suck it. Mike levine can mega suck it . And may builds can suck it as well 😌

Although I am one of the few lucky ones who made it out of Ice Mountain - when my Bronco first got shoved in there back in January I ordered a Model 3 LR. It's since gone up in price $5,500 and I'm locked in to my purchase price.

I got my VIN# yesterday and it is set to arrive June 6.

I went to CarMax today and they offered me $54k for my Bronco. I might try and squeeze $55k out.

I have a hell of a decision to make. I have my Bronco but Ford and the dealership haven't fixed anything that came damaged on it yet, and the frustration doesn't just end with finally getting the Bronco - the Ford relationship bleeds right into service, maintenance, warranty, and ownership.

My heart says keep the Bronco. My head says - go get the 3.

I just got a message on Ford Pass about Jim Farley’s Podcast. Those evil master minds are at it again. I swear they are torturing us. I thought someone was activating my vehicle and putting chips in my Bronco. No thanks Jim, delete, delete, delete! I don’t want to listen to your podcast. 🤬

? but keep tracking the VIN# ?

would be interesting to see if Ford suddenly expedites your Build to gift dealer hefty ADM

would anyone be surprised ?

Yes I'm going to keep tracking plus I want to know when it actually shows up.

As far as I'm aware ADMs aren't a thing here but I have priced a few incoming Broncos at nearby dealers and the prices have gone up a fair amount. My manual BB with only rear lockers was just over $48k (CDN sticker) and now a base with auto and modular bumper/brush guard is nearly $52 (CDN Sticker) plus I was locked into a lower rate from when ordered.
