So todays latest and greatest EDD news has been a triggering event for me. I realize not much is going to change but for my own mental therapy I am working hard to tweet the clown show decision making going on inside glass house at FOMOCO. I have bought multiple special order vehicles via a dealer allocation process. Recently one early on in covid and amazingly the German based automaker showed they value repeat customer loyalty w proactive communication as EDD slipped vs requiring the buyer to piece together Wth is going on. Goes a long way. Time to benchmark your competition @Ford Motor Company.

Cheese and Rice! I don’t even have an EDD now!
Has your EDD changed to pending? I did the chat yesterday and my EDD changed from May 17 to pending…. I’m afraid to call or check back after reading that some of our fellow 1/17ers have changed to July/August EDD’s.

My EDD is not on the tracker for some reason. The last I heard I called a dealer number I wasn’t suppose to have and they told me May 13th - 27th. The last time I called the dealer number they got mean and told me I couldn’t use it anymore unless I was a dealer. The regular number doesn’t have an EDD to share with me. 🤷
but I have been pending and ASN on the order tracker for some time now.

Those of you that are calling, are you calling the (800) 392-3673 from the ford site, or are you calling the so called "Bronco support team" number (800) 334-4375 ?

...asking for a friend
I call 800-334-4375 for my order status.

Date changed for me to 7/26. Had to talk the nice guy on the phone into a $100 gift card, which he did give me.

I'm done. Now looking at alternative vehicles--Audi QS5 Sportback is the leader in the clubhouse, if I can find one.

I have no hope that I'll get mine on July 26th.

Here's the vent back to Farley:

Ford customer service line told me my new EDD is July 28th. I find that pretty hard to believe when they first told me Feb. 8th then May 9th. My dealer got an Outer Banks that was built in March that was declined by the customer, but they only agreed they would sell it to me if I paid a 9k markup since one of their employees had already offered them 8k over for it. I declined.

I've been contacting dealerships all over the country to find a base or big bend bronco at MSRP, but I haven't had any luck yet.

I sold my commuter car in anticipation of my first EDD in Feb and I was really hoping I wouldn't have to renew the annual registration for my old truck at the end of May. Looks like I better get those inspections done.

I don't want a Jeep, a Tacoma is too long to fit in my garage, and I can't figure out a way to import a Suzuki Jimny. I'm still researching other options, but dang it, I already purchased accessories for this stupid Bronco.

I did some overdue repairs this last weekend on my truck that I'd been holding off on doing in the hopes my Bronco would arrive. So now I just have to pray the engine or transmission doesn't fail before my 8-month-old (at the soonest) "new" car arrives.

I'm feeling really sour on Ford and my dealership right now.

I do understand my dealer has nothing to do with Ford's production fail, but it would have been nice if they could have helped me out with basically anything - like the OBX for MSRP (I even said I would pay 5k over), money from the customer satisfaction funds to help with repairs to my truck, or any other vehicle on their lot for a good deal just to get me by for a while, ya know? At one point in our discussions, the sales manager implied I should be grateful he didn't mark up special orders like other dealers are doing. I guess he forgot I insisted on a signed order sheet when I had to reorder for my MY22.

Feeling glad I made the decision to buy a bronco now and just decide later when and if my order ever comes.
I feel terrible checking in here to the faithful 1/17 group and seeing all this bullshit news.

If your looking at a Sq5. Try driving a Macan S or Gts as well. I drive a GTS as my daily driver. It’s def a fun CUV to drive.

Thanks I will. Haven't branched out to the Porsche dealer yet. One issue with an SQ5 that's landing at my dealer is that adaptive cruise and some of the lane assist stuff doesn't come with the car, due to chip/module deletes.

For me, adaptive cruise is a must because of my long distance driving and the main reason for me going for the Lux package on the hypothetical Bronco.

Check w the dealer is it a complete delete or something they plan to add later. Porsche has been skipping the mechanized steering wheel module at factory but adding it at dealer as parts come available about 2 to 3 months.
