For everyone that is getting pushed back to July and August are your builds still in production or built status? I’m getting a bit worried because mine has been built since 3-27 and has been awaiting shipment ever since

Todays news might be the end for me. EDD pushed to July 31st. My neighbor just took delivery of a clone to my build with a blend date in March. Obviously Ford has no plan at all, and at the current pace my Bronco will likely have its first birthday in a parking lot in Michigan. Time to set my sights on something else.

They said in the Q1 earnings call the plan….. In order to maximize total deliveries they will keep production going and then retrofit the ones where they ran short as new chip orders are fulfilled. No regard for order or customers. Luck of draw. It’s all the fault of the worldwide chip shortage not Ford. (Sarcasm intended). Oh yea explorers and F150s have priority of the 53,000 vehicles awaiting chips.

I call customer service and also my dealer. Neither sounded confident that the new deadlines would be met.

Dealer just updated me… mid-July delivery. Might cry, might laugh. Perhaps a combination of the two…

Feeling glad I made the decision to buy a bronco now and just decide later when and if my order ever comes.

I am in the Automotive Industry and it is truly sad to see the state of things right now. I am in 100+ dealerships every month all throughout the mid-west and there are new Broncos everywhere. One in particular that matches what I want, has been sitting with a $15K market adjustment in inventory for more than 90 days. It probably wouldn't be as frustrating to me if I had not already sold my car, based on the original delivery information Ford provided.

The new dates are as arbitrary as the old ones. I originally thought maybe Ford thought they could get through Ice Mountain in 3-4 months, it was just a one-time chip issue. But it’s clear to me now Ford has an idea or knows solidly when they will be short modules and just keeps churning out new vehicles. New additions last to the mountain last month.

We, the abandoned customers, are valued less than profit/ keeping the line going. Before anyway calls me entitled or a snowflake— I could respect Ford’s decision if they hadnt given us tools to track progress or had the balls to communicate with us. So we should all treat Ford as they treat us.

100% agree. All of the Ford apologists telling me how often, or whether I should check on my order, or to give Ford a break, they can EABOD. Farley and Levine are busy pumping the Lightning release in Twitter, and the @Ford Motor Company account here is an absolute joke. It's salt in the wound to see April builds being congratulated for arriving in their owner's driveways, while ours sit and collect dust and rust in a dirt lot in Michigan for months on end.

Ford is going to lose a LOT of future business over how they've handled this entire release.

my dealership called. i don’t have an updated EDD like the rest of y’all… yet! but, they are giving me $1000 towards accessories!!! NOT happy about not having my bronco & not knowing when i’ll have it, but the extra money definitely helps a lil bit.
