Like a lovesick fool, every day I refresh the order tracker at least 3 times and check the Build Rotation Excel sheet 3-5 times a week to see how the rest of you are coming along. You know, just in case she called and I missed my phone ring even though I've had it on me the whole time.

Like everyone, my experience has been frustrating to no end. After being a first 24-hr reservation holder, my Bronco has been sitting on ice mountain with seemingly little progress and an EDD of next week. On 4/28, it inexplicably pushed all the way to "In Transit" just to later that day move backwards to "In Production". When I called FoMoCo Support to ask about it, all they can see is "it's on chip hold" and play the same no-commitment games everyone's getting when you reach out.

Is anyone still updating the Delivery Tracker Google Sheet? Seemingly, we've stalled at 49% Built and 29% Delivered, though if everyone is as apathetic about all this as I've become, can't say I'd blame you for not updating it after taking delivery.

Thanks!
JH
The tracker is updated to some extend. I estimate of the 157 users there are 30-50 that aren’t participating which would increase the percentages by 15-25%. We might be up to 2/3 build and half delivered.

I'm back. Yup, I bought my Wildtrak. As soon as I saw the color, I was done for.

The dealer did everything they said, to the point of actually creating a service ticker for the OCD checklist in the service system. It is, now, forever documented that these checks were performed. Very special thank you to @Cat for the incredible job and formatting in creating this essential purchasing tool. With the Ice Mountain vehicles and Ford's history, there is much power and relief in having a list in front of you to run through. It separates you from the emotions and the possibility of forgetting or overlooking something. Thank you, Cat!!

The dealer honored my X-plan pricing without hesitation or conversation. Everything was complete before arriving and we had discussed all numbers before heading down.

The price protection certificate took a bit of work. I say this, only because I have moved since my original reservation. The price protection is tied to your original reservation information and address. I had to give them my original info AND, more frustratingly, a document showing I lived there. Uhhhhhh, well, errr, ummm, I haven't lived there in over a year!!! Dig, dig, search, jump on my utility website, and, blamo, pull up a bill from when I lived there. This is a Ford-required verification document and had nothing to do with the dealer. Once I gave them the document, it applied in the system and I got my price protection certificate amount as well.

Total time through finance was about 30 minutes. All legal crap and a great conversation with my finance person as we have some history and had a great side conversation that had nothing to do with Broncos, Fords, or other things vehicular.

Bronco was exceptionally clean and all the crawling around, over, under, and around found one stone throw paint chip on the rear rocker. I pointed it out with a stern finger-wagging point. You would have thought I sucked the air out of the room. Everyone stopped, and then, immediately sprang into looking, thinking, and determining what, how, etc. to rectify such an egregious event. I calmly waited for the appropriate 30-seconds to let it set in. I then broke out laughing and told them to stop worrying about it, it was fine and completely inconsequential. Got 'em!!!!

I am not going to ever say that what we have, and are, going through is worth it. I will say that my Wildtrak is an incredible piece of engineering though. Already having one Bronco, a bone-stock base with no options, and now this one, I can say that they are worlds apart yet, so familiar to each other. Completely different hammers to hit the same, and different, nails. incredible! The different motors, different suspensions, different interior appointments, screen sizes, etc. all work perfectly in each respective vehicle. You cannot go wrong with either end of the spectrum.

What next? Well, for me, some accessory swapping from the black one to the green one and then off to market goes the black one. Someone is going to really score a nice rig without any of the headaches of what we in our special family of 1/17ers have gone through. Beyond that, I will soon forget about the black Bronco. Memoriesrepalced with the vehicle I waited 665 days for. It is here! Finally.

For us, I am not going anywhere. I have t-shirts and other fun prizes to send out from time to time. Osky scored the first shirt and I added in a nice Lego truck for him to pass his time with. Who's next? and what for? Gimme some help to send someone something. It's gonna be a long time, sorry, until the last one in our group gets their Bronco, unfortunately.

It's off to bed, I have to go back on shift in the morning. Ok, one more run out to look at that green in the darkness of night....
Congrats on the WildTrak...i love mine. Too!!

Thank you for the kind words about the OCD Checklist. I am glad it helps folks.

I would love to meet you some day. Maybe our Traks will cross.

Cat.

Hoping investors grilled Mr Farley et al on the 53k “on wheels inventory” during today’s shareholder call. Sadly, probably most chat on EV.

I submitted a question about it when I voted my shares. I don't have any hope they actually addressed it, but couldn't attend the meeting to confirm.

Oh and, of course, I voted to withhold my votes for all directors of FOMOCO, as my own futile gesture of frustration.

New member here, found this forum and am also a 1/17 build. Going through a bit of pages and sharing the same frustration. Just finished talking to a Ford representative through chat and my ETA of 16-24 May is no longer visible to them. They just said I don’t have an ETA anymore. Who knows what’s going on now.

My last EDD was May 14th and I haven't called them this week because I know what they will say. Feel your pain!

The same thing happened to me yesterday. Then this morning, the salesman at the dealership texted me that my order now shows an ETA of April 10-16, 2022. Does Ford now have a time machine here they can take us back in time??? So frustrating that we can't get straight answers.

I started looking at market Broncos but could never justify paying 85k for a build that’s 47-50.
I ordered a manual base so I am at the lowest cost of a new bronco and I'll wait. My kids are grown so I didn't need any bells and whistles. I'm going to upgrade the tires and paint the wheels black.

Seems to be consistent across our group. I talked to FOMOCO Customer Service this morning and the rep LOL'd when he saw my EDD had been moved back in time to April. I seemed to get the most helpful person I've had the pleasure in speaking with yet, Daniel. He told me he would keep my case open and begin calling me every few days to update me since he saw how often I had been calling in... Now lets see if that actually happens.
