Where have you been to?

I've been to all 50 states except for Oregon and Idaho. My wife and I are planning on knocking those off next fall. It's hard to pick a favorite state or even a top 5. There are so many great things in each state if you are willing to look for it. I think most people assume certain states are boring so they never do any research and they end up vacationing the same old places. Explore people!!

It's definitely a shame. I mean, how many people ever heard of Bonne Terre Mines in MO? I definitely have to return to Kansas City and stay at the Casino again (Spent the night, why I didn't count it)

I also have to visit my friend in Greenville (SC) next year (He lives in Belton, but figure also spend my time there), would have gone in May, but we all know what happened

48 states, everything but Alaska and Maine. Atlantic, Gulf and Pacific in that order. Lived in 5 states. Drove commercially in 26 states. Born in the heartland Ohio, settled in Hawaii. Offroading in 8 states. Camping in +40 states. All the great lakes. Mountain tops, salt flats, river basins, ancient sea floors, smoky mountains, and alot of swamps. Camped in a tropical storm on Myrtle Beach, drove into a hurricane to Baton Rouge. Lived in a van down by a river, on abandoned railroad tracks, 3 beaches, 1 lake, underneath a I-70 bridge, and next to a waterfall.

My Dad drove through a Monsoon in Louisiana so he could get to T Coons in Lafayette before it closed at 2:30. It was 12 when we arrived, and I'm talking across the state in I can't see shit in front of me weather going 90 in a loaner Panamera

I absolutely love living in the US with the freedoms we have.

Favorite places outside of the US is the backcountry of BC, Southern coastal Italy, and Paris in the springtime.

I had my first real trip compliments of Uncle Sam 8000 miles to a jungle....got out of there without getting killed or caught...have since traveled all over the states and over seas....but never gone to where there are jungles.....

What part of Italy? Wonder if we went to the same place.

Been to Italy many times, both when I lived in Germany and just for vacation since. Northern Italy is nice for the Alps, but I did most of my Alps trips in Austria or Germany. Driving in Italy is fine north of Rome, but the farther south you get, the crazier it gets.

We now go mostly south of Naples for 2-3 weeks at a time and stay in various places. Usually in the mountains overlooking the sea. The Amalfi coast is great early or late season. I never go to Europe in the summer. Too hot and too many people.

Canada, Mexico, Panama, Nicaragua, Ecuador, Uruguay, Bahamas, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, UK, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Greece, Sardinia, Switzerland, Slovenia (formerly Yugoslavia), Albania, Turkey, Egypt, Kenya, Jordan, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia (was there during Iraq invasion of Kuwait), Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, UAE, Afghanistan (too many times), India, Nepal (Kathmandu), and Japan... I may have missed a few... ?‍ But best place ever to be... Home!
