Anyone having any issues with their tailgate not closing properly? Came back from a weekend out of town (without the Bronco) and now the door is fighting me to close. Still opens fine. Checked all the hinges and everything appears to be A-ok. It will shut after some serious grunting and grinding. Seems to be the hydraulic arm that is causing this.

Usually it's the glass causing issues. Do you still have issues with the glass up and out of the way? I think there will be a rash of issues at some point because the spare tires are so heavy, but it's still too new for that, don't you think?

I really don't think it's the glass. You may be onto something with the sheer weight of the whole swing gate. I've had it since October and use the tailgate a good bit for work. I'll be pretty disappointed if this thing is wearing out this soon.

I can see mine flexing with 33s I think the Ford reinforcement is a good start, but eventually someone is going to have to come out with a better fix.

Hi there! Can you send us a DM with more information? I’ll see how I can assist on my end. Thank you!
