My estimated delivery just moved again according the the back door reservation tracker. Listed below in order of the highly inaccurate Ford commitments since my ship date just under 4.5 weeks ago.

4/7 - 4/13
4/9 - 4/15
4/11 - 4/17
4/15 - 4/21
4/17 - 4/23

and now 4/26-5/02

So it’s 16 days and counting since it arrived at the rail yard 3 hours away and it’ll be there for at least another week and probably another 2+.

My excitement is totally gone 627 days after making a reservation and this shit is way past getting old…… 😤
Yep, I’ve resorted to quoting myself…..

My estimated delivery date has moved once again and is now 5/03 - 5/09. It’s now been sitting in a rail yard 3.5 hours away for 23 days and counting.

628 days later….the purchase process was smooth. No ADM. $800 PP cert applied and the additional $1500 PP will be paid to me later. The Bimini shade didn’t come with the vehicle but will be shipped to me when they get it.

First impressions:

- bigger than I thought for a two door.
- sits way higher than expected. I’m 6’3” and it’s a noticeable “hop” to get in. My wife said “hell no” and said “we need a side step”
- leg room in the driver’s seat seemed to be more than the 4-door but I could be crazy.
-RIP gas mileage (as expected). Even in Eco mode, I was averaging 15mpg the hour long highway drive back home @75mph.
- Sport mode is cool and well, sporty. “4x4 shifting in progress” 🔥
- definite wind noise coming from between the front roof panels and the rear top.
- nicely equipped for a base mode. It is indeed the cheat code of Broncos

My dealer just called and its being delivered tonight!

Ill be able to pick it up tomorrow or Friday depending how fast they can do the PDI.
Just wanted to update this for anyone that is keeping track of deliveries or anyone searching in the future.

Bronco is at the dealership i got the picture from my dealer and will be picking it up today. The pizza tracker and backdoor link have not updated to the last step yet. They are still on delivery same with order track.

The window sticker still says an irrelevant date for anyone who thinks the date on the bottom means anything. Mine always just updated every 7 days and had no connection to any milestones.

Hopefully some of this info helps people. Also it took 23 days sitting at the final rail yard before it made it to the dealership.

I‘m 6’6” and sat in both the 2 & 4 door at the NV Off-roadeo. I do know for a fact the B-pillar on the 2 door sits back further than the 4 door’s which is really nice for us tall guys since it won’t block our vision over the left shoulder. I also thought the 2-door had more leg room but it might just be the additional room being created by the B-pillar being further back and out of the way.

My wife is 5’2” and was able to get in and out of the Sasquatch at the rodeo but since she’s 65 that could change soon…….

Anyway, congratulations on your Bronco!

Being tall also affects the view out the front window. When I sit up straight like my momma taught me, my sight line is just under the visors. A slight recline of the seat should help that. A couple of folks at the gym this morning were asking when am going to take the top off. Lol. I’m still trying to figure out how to adjust the seats!

Pushed out another week with no answer other then " with a delay on delivery, we have a pile of trucks down there, I thinking they have a trucker issue, nobody to delivery them, I’m sure it will show up at some point," That was last week. I just looked at the tracker. Man this is a frustrating freaking process. Sorry just needed to vent.

I feel your pain and vent to this forum, my wife and friends (when they ask) every time my date gets pushed out! We now share the same date range once again. This last leg, since my Bronco got off loaded from the rail car in Richmond on April 6, has been the worst part of the wait. Just when you think you’re a day or two away Ford moves the date out a week and shatters your hopes and dreams again and again and again! The repeated disappointment and moving dates is honestly like nothing else I’ve ever experienced….. That said it’s just a car so there’s worst things that happen in life….

My dealer confirmed there’s a trucker shortage to move cars out of Richmond, Ford is aware and trying to fix it. On the bright side there are two members on this thread who took delivery this week on their Richmond refugees this week. Plus, my dealer has also had at least two Broncos delivered this week so on the upside things are moving out of there better this week than the last two.

Our wait will be over soon. I’m at day 634 and counting since my reservation and I know their are still some who reserved two weeks before me who still haven’t been scheduled. Had I known it would take this long I would’ve still ordered but I would’ve bought a used Jeep to tow behind my motorhome for my first 18 months of retirement.

Thanks for the pep talk. Agree it's just a car and yes things could be a lot worse, so I will stop whining.
