I just send your message to my dealer. Going to see what they say. They have been really great. I’ll report back.Thought I’d share some news I got from my dealer today. I’ll preface by saying a) this is clearly not true for everyone and b) I’ll still take most news with a grain of salt until my Bronco is in my driveway.
He sent me this text today:
“One piece of potentially good news…. All of the Broncos have been released to the carrier.
Our Zone Rep said that means the unit has cleared all safety checks and is ready to ship.”
“All of the broncos” refers to the remaining ones in their system that have been on hold, mine included.
He followed up with a phone call and said the zone rep told him he’s been seeing a trend with many of the units that have been on hold for a while. He’s noticed that many of them don’t show up in the tracking systems the same as normal and especially once they ship.I guess with all the delays/changes, the systems don’t always update and show accurate info, which explains why some units just Show up out of the blue.
So, based on his info, mine is built and has passed all the final inspections and ready to ship, but every one of my trackers still show “in production” and my dealer feels pretty certain they may not have accurate tracking info once it actually ships.
I’m cautiously optimistic that I may be finally built and just thought I’d pass along, as this may be the case with some of you, as well!
