Thought I’d share some news I got from my dealer today. I’ll preface by saying a) this is clearly not true for everyone and b) I’ll still take most news with a grain of salt until my Bronco is in my driveway.

He sent me this text today:

“One piece of potentially good news…. All of the Broncos have been released to the carrier.

Our Zone Rep said that means the unit has cleared all safety checks and is ready to ship.”

“All of the broncos” refers to the remaining ones in their system that have been on hold, mine included.

He followed up with a phone call and said the zone rep told him he’s been seeing a trend with many of the units that have been on hold for a while. He’s noticed that many of them don’t show up in the tracking systems the same as normal and especially once they ship.I guess with all the delays/changes, the systems don’t always update and show accurate info, which explains why some units just Show up out of the blue.

So, based on his info, mine is built and has passed all the final inspections and ready to ship, but every one of my trackers still show “in production” and my dealer feels pretty certain they may not have accurate tracking info once it actually ships.

I’m cautiously optimistic that I may be finally built and just thought I’d pass along, as this may be the case with some of you, as well!
I just send your message to my dealer. Going to see what they say. They have been really great. I’ll report back.

Looks like my Bronco is at the rail holding site “Pending Pick-up”. Maybe this weekend?

So close!

In case some go in and attempt to use this link and get no tracking info, do not be too concerned. This just means that your dealer is not using URL. Your VIN will pull up and show your dealer but it won’t track or status update.

I checked it this morning and it was as you described…..dealer, VIN and a type of order number. Then I checked it tonight and all the tracking info was present.

I’ve been built (totally built) since 3/27. They just can’t figure out how to get my Bronco shipped… 🤬
Your Bronco has been built 100% complete for a full month and its been parked in Fords lot all of this time because they can't get a Bronco shipment from Michigan to Ohio?

That just doesn't make sense to me. At this point, I would seriously begin to question whether or not they managed to lose your Bronco. Maybe Ford is waiting to see if your VIN shows up somewhere, and while they wait all they can do is periodically move your EDD further and further out?

I know that shipping has been another area of delay, but for a full month to pass with nothing even being set up for the shipping? .That's getting pretty extreme, even for Ford. I really think that there is more going on here. Have you just been using the online trackers? You might have to get the dealership involved with this one.

My status is identical to his and our Broncos are also coming to the same area.

I’m going to columbus but still in production. My dealer says they work with a specific convoy operator and contact them when near. What does you dealer say??

My dealer doesn’t know squat. I’ll reach out to him today and he’ll just say “yeah, that’s what I see in the system, May 4-8”.

Zero help.

There are a couple of us in the same boat. Need to get from MAP to OH, probably a 3 hour drive tops, and they can’t get us on a convoy for a month now.

Total shit show, and I was absolutely expecting this. 🤬

reached out to my dealer- told me they see nothing new on my bronco- still sitting on ice mountain for exactly 100 days now. they said that others have come off ice mountain to them just not me for some reason. i have to say i have truly lost all excitement for this vehicle. at this point it's more just something that i want to see through till the end. i think most of us will get "built" end of q2 and see our vehicles in late july

Anyone go from Production to Built in the last week or two?

Or better yet, has anyone taken deliver of their Bronco while the tracker was still in Production?

Just looking for any glimmer of hope. I'm still showing Production.

Its coming to the point I don't know if I even want a vehicle that was sitting 3-4 months out in the weather and not being moved or started. At least if it was on a dealer lot they would be moving it around from time to time.
