This is definitely not the biggest mod you will see today, but after seeing a video about buying plugs on Amazon, I decided I would just print them. I do think it looks better with plugs than the open metal channel.

Nice! Your solution has the added benefit that you could customize them, like for example put a raised bucking bronco emblem on that flat surface, or something like that

Sure, I can make some up. What's a fair price? BTW, I was going to put a spot of glue on them, but the friction fit so tight, I'm not gonna bother. They aren't going anywhere.

Hmmm… $50? The 4 cargo hooks for the cargo area go for that. And maybe round the corners to match the lines of the crash bars. Sorry if that’s nit picky. Not a dealbreaker if you don’t. 👍🏼

Your plug will interfere with Fords engineering. the crash bars were engineered to be self plugging, over time they will fill with mud, eventually all one has to do is smooth off the end for a nicely filled bar.
