Sorry I've been awol. It's the last week of the semester before finals and the students are stressing. How many of you have driven a Bronco before you got yours? Like did any of you test drive any?

Finally took delivery on Thursday of last week! What an unbelievable journey to get to this point. Big shout out to Chapman Ford for incredible support through the entire process and for an honest transaction at the end.

I’m really happy with the truck so far and found many of the gripes at B6G to be nitpicking. I do admit I may never get used to this awful tach! I’m also really satisfied with the Toyos and feel they are a total upgrade from the stock Bridgestones.

@Ford Motor Company you have a unique product here. Please do the right thing and take care of the remaining 1/17 gang. Treat your most loyal customers like your company future depends on it, because it does!

Final thoughts, nothing is “worth the wait”. What was worth it was meeting all of YOU! I’ll still hang around until the last 1/17 is evacuated from that damn parking lot. Until then, I’ll be in touch to answer whatever questions I can.

I test drove a Badlands last summer to ensure I liked the ride. I did a baby Off Rodeo a couple weeks ago with an hour of driving- 95% road and then a couple minutes off road (rain had washed out the trail so we only tested the trail turn assist).

Same height as stock just a bit wider at 275/65R18. No need to adjust the speedometer which is a plus. Got the passenger rated tires to avoid the stiffness of an E Rated tire.

I did a test drive of the badlands in CA when they had an event. They had a track set up in the mountains and an obstacle course to try all the tricks the bronco can offer. I loved it. power, ride quality and the tranny. only thing i didnt like was the cheap plastic feel of the interior. also had a lot of noise from the plastic interior.

I've been checking the Ordertrack.app an unhealthy amount today. At least twice per hour.

Well I've just went from "picked" to "paired" with Sandy Springs (where my dealer is) as final destination. Holy shit I might get my Bronco in the next day or two.

I'm so sorry for those still not shipped. This has been a total clownshow/shitshow.

On the ordertrack app page if your showing as rail do you know if you ever get the picked or paired status or is that only for convoy?

I can't wait for all of our week to get their Broncos and marvel over how well they drive and feel on the road. Every time I get in and drive I am amazed at how much more secure I feel on the road than in a Jeep or even a Tacoma. Taking turns is a breeze and the pick up isn't too shabby and I have the 2.3! I also like how the car seat fits in the collapsible seats.

*Backstory: I flipped a Nissan Frontier in December of 2008, the air bags never deployed, but my oldest son was unharmed (little one wasn't thought of yet). I on the other hand still have daily migraines.*

This is the first time I am excited to drive in all types of weather. I'm especially looking forward to next winter. I know, spring has just got here, but I'm the person who gets seasonal depression during the summer. LOL

Isn't it amazing how we are all buying a vehicle that we have never driven and not even three years ago we would have never bought a vehicle we hadn't test drove?

I can't get anything further from @Ford, my tracker isn't updated and CS just says still on chip hold. How do I have an EDD of may 5th through 11th when they have no idea on when they will have a chip? Just send it without the chip and have dealer install it later. I've lost a lot of respect for the Ford brand through this 16 month journey now that I see all these 3 month turn around orders. Daily vent over.

I've been in built status since March 28th so nothing is real till the thing shows up IMO.

Yes but at least at build there is a basis for an estimate. Untill then there is no way to estimate shipping start That is certainly variable too but there are some “normal” durations and there is at least some added information for tracking.

Pretty ironic for sure. Or perhaps it wouldn’t even be scheduled yet. Mine is a loaded 2dr WT with the MIC top and I’m still waiting on it in spite of a day 1, first 10 minute reservation and #1 dealership allocation. Dealership said at the time I initially converted to an order that it would be the first Bronco off their first trailer as a May-Jun 2021 delivery….a year later, here I sit. Just bad luck I suppose.

I never changed to a soft top. I decided I would wait longer for the Mic top, but oh wait...I am waiting longer WTH
