MGV (Vinyl) versus Leather

I went w/ MGV for 2 reasons: 1 seems like it has a much better rating than the leather with other models and 2 I have children; if I can hose them down and the seats that is a huge benefit.

But these seats are slightly different than standard. Do I have the right logic here? Did you go MGV/Leather and why?

Leather, because cup holders and power seats.
Kids use the cup holders and arm rest every time we go out off-road.

The leather is still quite resilient, and wipes down with a wet cloth just fine.

I have no experience with the leather and won't miss the rear cup holders with MGV, but the MGV are crazy comfortable. I've had people ride in my Bronco and they always comment on how awesome the MGV seats feel.

Even the leather if you read the fine print is vinyl/leather trimmed. I’m not sure what part is vinyl and which is leather. At least with mgv you get all of one material.

I was 100% in on the leather UNTIL I found out if won't get me power seats in the 2-door, and I actually saw loose/wrinkled leather in a few Broncos.

Too expensive for what it gets you in the 2-door.

I received my Bronco last week, I’ve got leather, power seats and carpet….no regrets at all! I personally would highly recommend the leather…..

We sat in 2 Broncos at the mini off rodeo even here in Miami, both with around 10k miles. The look of the MGV was like new and felt great. The leather looked a bit worn, still very nice, but worn. Based on comments from Ford employees and personal review we went to our dealership same day and changed our order to MGV. The sales guy that helped us also said he was going MGV with his build. Hope we made the right call but I don't think you can go wrong either way. We have young kids who might use the cup holders but will prob just get some sort of Molle adapter if even needed. Beach trips will be much less stressful.

The vinyl keeps my ass extra warm on the cold mornings with the heated seats. It looks better than the leather and is super comfortable.

Also realize the MGV option has a rubber floor/rubber floor mats vs Leather is carpet floor.

I went MGV for mostly 2 reasons...

1). I am cheap.

2). Seagull

Carpet floor mats are standard with MGV, all weather floor liners are optional.

I have always gone with leather in my trucks, so it's what I stuck with here. I do Leather work also, so I guess I just like the heritage quality of leather. I really like the Ford King Ranch leather seats too.
