I didn't realize the manual was in short supply. I dropped the tow package and I've already ordered/received the hitch/harness (don't need 7 pin). The manual isn't something I'll compromise on. I'll wait as long as it takes!

Yep, there's a few of us soft top orders in here, but looks like we're all the stubborn row-your-own type guys. I switched from MIC and have no regrets, but I know it would eat away at me if I compromised on the 7mt.

I'm used to jumping through hoops and ladders to get manual transmission versions of vehicles, but the general roll out of the Bronco takes the cake lol.

100%

I've had a few automatic vehicles, but always preferred the manual (and probably always will regardless of how "good" automatics are). This is going to be the first actually new vehicle I'm going to purchase and I just want it to be, well, what I want. I know I won't be rock crawling or anything crazy, and while the trail turn assist looks cool as hell... nah.

TTA is cool and would probably be useful, but it does have its downsides. I did an off-roadeo a couple weeks ago and the instructor made it fairly clear he didn’t like it. Not because it didn’t work, but because of how much it tears up the trail. He made it clear that he had to show us how to use it but hoped people wouldn’t use it much.

Very interesting. For every action and all that…

That’s interesting it’s similar to hunting and how close hunters are connected with conservation. Yeah we’re gonna drive on trails and have an impact on the environment by doing so, but we also want to make sure we don’t destroy it so that everyone else can enjoy it now and in the future.

Exactly. I hunt also, but can’t stand those that are irresponsible/unethical - the latest being idiots that send their hounds onto my land and claim they can’t help where they go and what animals they take.

Put up trapping signs and I’ll bet they keep them out!

Well first off, great to meet all of you. You all have great taste. Nice to meet people who agree that a bronco should have 2 doors a stick shift, the good suspension and final drive and other than that should cost as little as possible... after aug switches have been added of course

I didn't realize I had a build date till I called my dealer 2 weeks ago. Who knows might have just got it, but also could have had one that's been getting bumped over and over and just didn't know. 🤷‍♂️

I'm a little less excited about my May 9th build after reading the thread and learning that many of you have been getting bumped since December and that may 9th is more of a placeholder than a build date

At least I have found a group of people going through the same thing I am.

I might be setting myself up for disappointment but I can't help but hope. My dealer has only reached out to me 2 times; The week before I got my first scheduled date and today. Just a hope that this means I am being previewed and might get an actual build date next week.

So were you moved to 5/9 officially?
I think there are a lot of Manual Sasquatches with MIC that don't know they have been moved to this group and are finding out unfortunately when their build date comes and goes....
FWIW my order tracker still shows the 3/7 build week....

Mansquatch in general, not just MIC. A few of us (including me) are soft tops. I found out in a call from my dealer after the 3/7 week passed as well.

Made plans for a long camping trip in mid April based off of the 3/7 date, lol. Fool me once...

Bummer! similar situation, we are going to Super Cell in TN this year and I was hoping that we could take the new one... Back when I was delusional and thought that it was going to be delivered before Christmas... You know built the week of 12/13, then arrive and take delivery 12/24- lol

PS you should add your data to the google sheet- right now I am the only 4 door on there....
