I actually think it makes a lot of sense, but you wouldn’t ship the modules separately…..package the chip(s) in an ESD proof anti-static bag and put it in the glovebox. The certified Ford mechanic can install it when it arrives at the dealership. In fact, it makes waaaay too much sense, so it’ll never happen. But it should.
If it got shipped to the dealer and sat there for two months waiting on the chip, I would be so paranoid that people would keep seeing it at the dealership and offering way over MSRP and the dealer would not be able to resist and would sell it out from under me.

She's here!!!! Dealer (Lamarque Ford. been great throughout this whole process). They are prepping her for sale now, so by the time I leave work and get over there she should be ready!! Weather is in the 70's here in N.O., so you know the top will be dropped as soon as I get the keys.

Super excited for you!!! This gives me confidence. Broncos are rolling. May not be super fast but at least some are getting out. Now. Your job is to have enough fun in the bronco for the rest of us waiting.

I I picked up mine at the dealer last night! Drives great and is awesome! Mine was a 1/18 blend and had originally been a 2/3 EDD, but then flipped to May and the dealer showed a microchip hold. Changed to built all of a sudden a few weeks ago and then shipped. Arrived at the rail yard a week and a half ago and sat on the train car for a week. Was unloaded last Thursday and then finally trucked to the dealer this morning. They were incredible and did a quick turn around getting it ready so we could pick up last night. We did see it in the holding lot last week when it was unloaded from the train, and it was pretty dirty. I’m relatively sure it had not been in a climate controlled warehouse prior to getting here….;) But it was in great shape. 18 miles on it.
I can't get the pizza tracker to work. It did once yesterday and that was last night. Maybe too many are accessing it all at once.
i get it to work once a week at best

I'm not a jealous person. I don't mind if someone is prettier, thinner, younger (usually the case), richer etc but then I was reading on another forum (not build weeks, they make me sad) but on the Ice Mountain Thaw forum. Someone else after us is getting their Bronco now. It really gets to me. I want our group to take delivery asap, I just don't want others to cut in line. Down south we take offense if people cut in front of us. Vent over.

My “Delivered” status also changes to “final preparation” this morning. Although only my built status is checked with the vehicle being in fact shipped. “Shipped” probably won’t be checked until it’s at the dealer I’m guessing…

Thanks for all the tracking and admin work on this!

To all, a reminder to not only reference page one, first post for all things info on our Broncos but, to keep our build week Google doc up to date so everyone can easily reference it. And, keep the Ice Mountain datasheet up to date as things happen so we can all keep a pulse on the realities of what is happening.

Nice build gopats54. I saw our exact build here in Cheyenne this past Saturday……all I can say is we chose well. It was glorious.

Edit: It was a 2dr, which I opted for …. Your sig doesn’t have a door count, but if you’re a 4dr I saw that RR WT build in Co a few weeks ago and it was nice as well.
