My dealer just informed me (drink), that for the month of March, Ford will not be pulling any orders for dealerships across the country. Meaning, if you don't have a VIN, you will not be getting one throughout the month of March. Their dealer rep just gave them the news.

Then you'd better hope April is better...microchips...

I hope you are right, but he has been straight up with me the whole time and accurate. Folks who are currently scheduled are ok, but no more VINs will be issued for the month of March.

Well, there so backed up with constraints Broncos parked in lots waiting for chips, march & April scheduled build getting pushed... Prussia no side left to schedule. No chips no more scheduled builds... probably can't even finish all they've built or already have scheduled to build through and of April....

So I have a vin and my build date was 3/21 per my dealer. But I heard from our source in here that it loved to 4/4. So I wonder if mine will be built.

Just told today my 3/21, which was moved to 4/4, is now scheduled week of 4/11. I'll be surprised if I'm not pushed to 4/25 before I sniff a Blend Date...

Almost sounds like they are trying to get caught up on the ice mountain builds if what happened to you happens to more people with builds in March. We shall see.

I completely disagree, they are curtailing regular production to reallocate shared parts to the Raptors (and maybe some Everglades) so that their preferred dealers have them on the lots to sell. Generate even more hype.

This is a choice by Ford, not a necessity. They are choosing to allocate limited resources away from reservation holders for the Raptor.

My opinion only of course, but it would fit with the history of choices Ford has made in this release.

To those about to claim only reservationists get Raptor allocations, I will ask in advance, please show anything from Ford that contradicts the email that they are saving 'some' spots for reservation holders.

I believe this and also feel like this is going to be ongoing. My problem is this should be communicated to the dealers via FMC dealer. It's easier to temper and manage expectations if we are given the information. Is this a supplier issue? Transportation? What are they doing to try and fix the problems? Based on the last year and the same items are still problematic, apparently little to nothing. If you have to kill MOD bumper, kill it and build some damn vehicles. Offer some FP $$ to drop LUX and go to high. Kill TT and offer a free hitch and 4 pin at the dealer. Trying something beats nothing. If 2D is screwed, tell the dealers so the 2D people can chose to hold, switch or bail. No sense to keep doing the same thing hoping the commodity fairy shows up at night. What can they build? Anything? Nothing?

Give us the information and screw the market, it's going to get worse if that's what they are worried about.
