I haven't formally "given up", but I think at this point the choice has been made for me. I'm a 7/23/20 res holder who is deep down the line at Stephens. With the recent allocation numbers (6 total for Feb and Mar...), I may not even make the cut for a '23 model.

My wife and I picked up a 2016 JKU Willys a couple months ago. At the time, it was supposed to be a "hold me over" for a year or two until I could finally get the Bronco. But I've sorta fallen in love with the Jeep.

I'm slowly warming up to the notion of my Bronco dream never becoming a reality...

I have a 7/24/2020 reservation for a badsquatch, 4dr, 2.7L, hardtop and nothing yet either. I bought a jeep gladiator last summer just so I can scratch the itch (and I've wanted one until I saw the bronco) with the intention of selling either the gladiator or the bronco when I finally receive it. I had already started modifying the jeep so I'm not necessarily losing hope, but losing interest with the Bronco. I'm sure my love for the bronco will be renewed once my dealership finally gets it in...maybe I'll keep both? :p

I’m with you. The email Ford sent us recently is setting us up the notification that many of us 2022 are being pushed to 2023. There is no way they can fill all of the 2022 orders. Even with the schedule that was sent up to May. I have not heard of anyone stating they were picked. We should have a drinking game for “Worth the wait”.
With respect to those that tell me it's worth the wait, I'm sure it is. But, it's getting so hard to hear this phrase anymore.

Just ordered a 2022 rubicon extreme recon pkg. I’m 132nd at my dealer so I’m over a year away. Drove the bronco at Moab a couple weeks ago and had a blast. So much so, I can’t wait any longer. Maybe I’ll keep the bronco, maybe I’ll just buy it and sell it a few K over sticker for those willing to pay. Maybe I’ll check out the bronco in a few years or convert to a raptor and wait 5 years. I don’t really care to wait any longer and I’m not missing out on another summer, so I’ll be jeepin in May. 90 day lead time and I got it 3% under invoice, so I have a fully loaded wrangler for less than the bronco price.

We were inching closer to saying the heck w/ it and getting a comparably equipped Rubicon. Talked w/ several long time Jeep owners. All said the Jeep is a great vehicle but for someone my age they wouldn't recommend it. Especially if I'm planning to drive it across the country to Death Valley and Moab. So I'm in (waiting) for the long haul, whatever that may be. Hopefully I don't die first. :)
OK Karl, I'm calling horse hocky here. We took the Jeep JL you see in my avatar from North Carolina west to Deadwood, SD. Back on Hwy 90 to Soiux Falls, then south to Miami, OK. From Miami we took Route 66 to Tucumcari, NM to visit friends. Then back to North Carolina on Hwy 40. I was 65 years old, and had a friggin' blast (the wife said I had better not tell you how old she was). :)

So, you tell those long time Jeep owners to stow that shit. You get you a Rubi if you want one. Age ain't got a damn thing to do with having fun.(y)

I finally ordered a Rubicon. I'm not losing out on another summer. As an Oct Granger reservation holder, I'm not even sure I'll make 2023. If you havent driven a JL go do it, and I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Anyone else losing hope? I'm a 7/20/20 res holder with a 1/20/21 order and 10/2021 re-order. Still nothing in terms of a VIN or Build date. Just complete silence from Ford. Yes, I have most of the sins selected. But now almost 2 years out it's getting ridiculous. Who else is in a similar position and losing hope? Seeing people place orders over a year after my reservation and getting their build within months has been completely demoralizing. My girlfriend ordered a Bronco Sport in October 2021 and just took delivery this week, which is now making me itch to get my Bronco. Now looking at the prospects of getting pushed to a 2023.

I'm considering eliminating the tow package to try and speed things up and going aftermarket later. The main reason I wanted the tow is to put a bicycle hitch carrier for my mountain bikes.

Anyone else in the same boat as me?

Losing? Brother ALL HOPE IS LOST! I don't need my $100 right now so I don't care to cancel cause I don't feel like going to the dealer for the refund. When my Bronco finally arrives in 2024 ... I'll go there, test drive it. Tell them I'm thinking about it and make them hold it on their lot as long as possible before saying no thanks and having them refund my $100. By then no one is gonna want my outdated manual 2.3 BD stock... so they will have to sell it to me under MSRP or park it in the back of their lot to collect dust. Win for me is anyway I can make it painful on my dealer lol of course they won't care and I will have an ulcer the shape of Bronco by them but some meaningless pay back is sweet indeed!

So I say stick it out just so you can tell them "NO THANKS" later. They will have no luck selling them once orders are filled regularly and production is full up.

I feel like I will never get mine. I dont even think about it anymore. If I do find that its scheduled for production, I sort of expect an outrageous dealer markup.

Plus anytime I hear a Ford commercial about ordering a vehicle from them and you get to pick the options makes my stomach turn

you know - I seriously thought about walking away, but that wouldn’t have been enough. I want Ford to feel some level of pain for the giant botched :poop: show this has become. If I walk, the dealer will just sell to someone else at some ridiculous ADM, and Ford will have one more Bronco on the road. So I’m waiting. I want Ford/the dealer to have to sell me my 2021 at 2021 prices (because of the price protection). Every day they don’t deliver, it costs them more money - in storage, inflation, chip costs, etc. Eventually, I’ll be happy and I’ll get it…
