Who else is losing hope?

I'm a late 2 door reservation at a not-so-large dealer, so I know what that means. I placed an order for a 392 last week and I'm buying whichever arrives first. It's such a shame because I've been drooling over the Bronco for as long as the next guy.

EDD 1/31/22 changed to 2/10/22 and now is 5/01/22....on ice mountain waiting on chip.....tow module I'm guessing.
Frustrating yes....give up ...not an option

Anyone else losing hope? I'm a 7/20/20 res holder with a 1/20/21 order and 10/2021 re-order. Still nothing in terms of a VIN or Build date. Just complete silence from Ford. Yes, I have most of the sins selected. But now almost 2 years out it's getting ridiculous. Who else is in a similar position and losing hope? Seeing people place orders over a year after my reservation and getting their build within months has been completely demoralizing. My girlfriend ordered a Bronco Sport in October 2021 and just took delivery this week, which is now making me itch to get my Bronco. Now looking at the prospects of getting pushed to a 2023.

I'm considering eliminating the tow package to try and speed things up and going aftermarket later. The main reason I wanted the tow is to put a bicycle hitch carrier for my mountain bikes.

Anyone else in the same boat as me?

I have a 7/21/20 reservation. Yes, I'm losing hope. 2dr Big Bend... took off the tow pkg and paint protection months ago. Still not a word. WTF? This is becoming beyond ridiculous. 588 days and counting (but trying not to).

I get sick and tired of hearing about dropping the MIC top for the soft top when us 2 door guys cannot do that and we just continue to get screwed.

This time last year Ford was still promising us approximate build dates by May 2021. That would have helped manage expectations. Even if they couldn't give you a rough date because of parts shortages, if they could say something like "with current parts inventories, we anticipate we'll build approximately 40,000 more Broncos before we get to yours", that would be super helpful.

Now I doubt they would even be capable of providing such a guess, because of how much every specific dealer's allocation dominates the build date. Also they know that people on sites such as B6G would compare notes and get pissed when they clearly see their unchangeable choice of dealer pushing back builds 1+ years.

I pointed out on Twitter the problem Ford would have if they show how they are hurting early reservation holders with the allocation formula. Since Mr Levine stopped gaslighting me, crickets from Ford

If they drop it today you could possibly preview tomorrow. Maybe double check before close that they did it, unless you are comfortable that they did. Maybe have them e-mail you a copy of your new order.

What does preview mean?

Historically on Tuesdays before a Thursday scheduling (when they have done it in the past who knows anymore) Ford looks in the system at all of its dealers orders and previews ones that they think they can schedule to build. A preview doesn't guarantee a schedule that week, but it is the only indicator your dealer can give you that you might get picked that Thursday
