Well, I learned there’s yet another person in build week 1/3 from my dealership who took delivery before me with a reservation significantly after mine. That makes two (that I’m aware of) and one of them shared my exact build (with a res of 7/2021 compared to my 8/2020).
I finally emailed my dealer after learning about the 2nd. Just thought I’d share, as you all are the only ones I know who truly feel my pain lol.

“Hey (dealer), hope this finds you well.

I’m not reaching out for an update, as my EDD still sits at 5/13 and from what I can gather on the forum it appears my build week (1/17), the end of 1/10, and beginning of 1/24 all got extra screwed with the chip issue (although there’s also some talk of faulty airbags, so who knows). And now they’re just sitting in snow for an indefinite period of time, which is also concerning.

But, many people in build weeks 2/1 and beyond are already taking delivery.

Just touching base about a couple of things. I connected with another Tallahassee person in the 1/3 build week who’s already taken delivery. They said their initial reservation was 8

Press 0 to talk to operator. I explained what was going on with our build week. Micro chip hold excuse, while later build weeks were getting built and shipped. She said to call the customer service number (800)-334-4375, make sure to get a case number. Call the map number back, press 0 for operator and she the would transfer us to an executive.

Probably won't help but its another road to explore. We are all tired of the lack of info on our build weeks.

The problem I'm facing with this delivery delay is that it might make it more difficult to bring my dog home after having the surgery she needs. She's an Old English Sheepdog, she's 8 months old, and she requires bilateral hip replacements because she has hip dysplasia. Thankfully I have insurance, which covers 90% of the cost. If I have the Bronco, then I can more safely transport her home after surgery just by putting her in a huge crate in the trunk. But if I'm forced to bring her home in the back seat of my Civic, things could get complicated.

First-world problem? Definitely. But it does irk me because this dog helped me get over the worst break-up of my life, so I'm trying to do everything I can to make sure her hips are squared away so she can be with me for the long haul.

I hope the surgery goes well. I have a golden retriever and they are known for having hip issues as well. Maybe yours will arrive sooner than you think?

Let us know what you find out. I'm hoping it's more than "we just know it's a chip hold and we don't have any more information than you do."

I was looking at my window sticker, the entire number above blend date is 320220122. I wonder if that means I'll get built completely on March 20th? Just kidding. I can confirm that was the same number back when I first saw my window sticker. Unless Ford knew that's when they could build it?

I just have to entertain myself somehow. I attached that screenshot from my window sticker. Is yours like mine?

Thank you for your kind words. I'm also hoping it arrives sooner than I think. Interestingly, she might be too young to have the surgery - she's only 8 months, and the one doctor I met with on Friday said she might have to wait until she's 10 months old. So that gives me an extra 2 months to get the vehicle.

As for goldens - yeah, I think they and German Shepherds are like synonymous with hip dysplasia. I've even heard some pet insurance companies will refuse cover hip dysplasia in those breeds on that basis alone.

I am going to hope I get it before my birthday. It would be great to turn 60 and cruise around in my Bronco on the beach! It could happen!

I have a 17 year old dog ... Who I would like to take on a couple of adventures in my bronco . Sometimes I'm afraid I'll get my bronco after he passes and that really pisses me off. He is doing good but he is old and you can tell... Damn it Ford you good for nothing SOB

The 2/7 Thread had a workaround for the Palsapp in case any of you want to continue the tracking insanity:

"In Chrome, go to Palsapp.com, right click, pull down to inspect. Then over on the inspection side Control + F for Find (I'm on a Mac, so this may be slightly different on a PC), then type in the phrase "VIN" (no quotes). Above the highlighted/found phrase of VIN, there is a line that says something like Hidden=Hidden, click on those two "hidden" and delete them. Press enter, and the Search By VIN should reappear in the main window."

Once you delete the code, you can see the search box and check your convoy shipment again. My Bronco is still waiting at MAP.

Wow, I didn’t know I’d be learning computer hacker tricks when I ordered my Bronco. I feel like I’m part of the Matrix trying to find out information on my Bronco. Thanks man!
