This process reminds me of a traumatic childhood experience at the dentist where they left me sitting with fluoride as other kids come and went, like they forgot about me or something
LOL, I had the same experience!

My dealer shows it in transit too but also still on chip hold. He's adamant that once it gets here it's going to sit at the rail yard until it gets the right chips.

Ok, so this is my dealer also. He sounded SURE mine was going to sit in the rail yard. It is in the same town Birmingham, where my dealer is but stuck at the rail yard since last Friday.

I tracked it through the train route.

I signed into the trucking sight that moves it from the rail yard to the dealer. It is in the rail yard now and shows the route from the rail yard to the dealer but shows “waiting for pick up”.

It just does not make any sense to ship it all this way for it to sit less than 10 miles from the dealer waiting on a chip/or part. Who would be installing chips and parts at a rail yard?

I did have a chip hold for a few days but both the 1-800 number and the dealer had it removed before shipping. Now the dealer shows a “production hold” and delivery date of 5/26.

To give a timeline:

1/28 blend 1289/2270 edd 2/20-2/26
2/2 built
2/9 shipped
2/18 arrived in town at the rail yard waiting on trucking to dealer. 10 miles from final destination.

Any thoughts from the group?
