I am afraid your going to be right. Nothing we have seen indicates anything different. Still not one email or statement from them giving us any information speaks volumes. They clearly know we can see later weeks being built and shipped while we sit idle. That is just the biggest “FU” I have ever seen. Especially to customers willing to spend $60k on a major purchase. I have gotten more information and service from a company building me $300 patio chairs.

Yeah, I'm with you man. I'm not sure it's worth the risk or the wait. I had a 12/13 build date, pushed a few times and an actual built date of 1/21. EDD 5/20 waiting on chips. Dealer is giving me $1k towards aftermarket or purchase price from that early res thank you Ford promotion for early res holders. So I'm gunna wait it out. If it weren't for that, the guaranteed MSRP and bonus FordPass Points, I'd bounce to a volume dealer like everyone else. TBH, I have absolutely zero brand loyalty now. Ford had a huge opportunity here with me, and probably with many others, but they screwed it big time.

My electric will certainly NOT be Ford. FUCK Ford for how they've treated the core group. But I can't wait for my bronco.

+1 for how awesome my dealer has been through this. I know they're sucking wind just as much as I am. They're doing the best they can.

My feellings exactly. I grew up in a Ford family. Dad was an executive there. After an experience with a rusting Escape over the rear wheel well (everyone has seen this, right?) I moved away to Dodge and foreign brands for my wife. I got caught up in the thought of the Bronco and ordered one. Ford has shown me that they are still the same old Ford. Their efforts to modernize their IT infrastructure looked good from the outside, but has proven to be a joke. The chances that I would trust buying an EV from these clowns is nil.
I will not activate the Fordpass to give these guys my data. I have zero confidence they would manage it properly. If they are giving $300 or so in freebies, it’s only because they are extracting more than that value from us.

Right! I have a blend/build date of 12/6/21, EDD has changed five times, current EDD 3/16/22.. prob won't see it by then. So many of us still waiting for our 21 builds.

I would be very curious to know how many Day 1 reservation holders (or what percent) still have not been scheduled, or built. Maybe I'll start a poll and we could make an educated guess. It's increasingly crazy that there are any...

funny it's the same situation for me- grew up in a ford family, tons of brand loyalty, I've bought 6 myself but i drifted away from the brand after not being impressed by the build quality and some bad dealers and some electrical gremlins over the years. switched to japanese cars for my wife and found some better build quality and engineering- ford had a real chance here to win me back here but after this FU from Ford i see no reason to give them any loyalty. in the market for 2 new cars now at the same time, one for the wife and one for my daughter and a japanese company will get my business sadly

So has anyone called the hotline and had them check your status and get told specifically that theirs is a chip hold? I called the other day and the lady said mine doesn’t say chip hold but I have my doubts.
