I wanted to give y’all a personal perspective that many on here have had to deal with. In early January I got sick and was diagnosed with Covid, no big deal, I’m vaxed, in good-ish shape and have had Covid once before about 4 mo ago. Well I was wrong. I was just released last night from the hospital, still on oxygen, dealing with Covid pneumonia.

I’m not sure why I wrote this to y’all, maybe it’s just to make sure you are carful, maybe it’s to make sure you tell the ppl that are important to you that they are truly important to you. I’m completely reevaluating my entire life, all material objects as well as my career. I’m now searching ways to enjoy the last few decades I have left. My advise is to be thankful for what you have while still remaining hopeful for what is in your future, IE finally getting your Bronco delivered.

My bronco has been sitting at my dealership for weeks and weeks and they have been very supportive. I hope to surprise my wife with having her delivered to our driveway next weekend. Y’all take care and keep up the posts, they have been a godsend to me.
Glad that you are on the mend Sean! Stay healthy and enjoy your new ride.

We often take life for granted- yes, it's a cliche', but 100% accurate. Unfortunately it takes losing a loved one, or a near death experience to make us stop and realize the value of life and loved ones.

Heed Sean's advice. Live every day like it's your last, because one day you will be right.

Awesome recap Alvin, thank you. We are heading to Austin for the 3/18 Off-Roadeo, and we can't wait!! Any pointers will be greatly appreciated. Weather looked chilly. I'd better tell the wife to dress warm...
It was a bit too cold to be outside for us Texans, but we survived. The wind was the big culprit.
Tips, hmm.. they really had the setup well prepared. We stayed at the Horseshoe Bay resort, it is part of the same land the Trails are on so it is a 10 minute drive or a quick shuttle. However, at the risk of seeming cheap, the resort was a bit over priced for the quality of the room. Maybe it was just me, and they were super busy with weddings and A list talents at the light club there.

So far as the trail goes, bring snacks and drinks with you, or they will give you boxes of water and giant slim jims.

Lunch and Dinner are provided and it was a good spread. Dress for out doors, long pants, closed shoes, bring a jacket, normal stuff.

It will be fun, you and the wife will enjoy it. The whole event was pretty chill and I never felt unsafe. Well other than when we drove off the side of a hill, but that was on purpose and no one died :)

Thanks for sharing, I hope things are better for you by the day. In 2020, I lost my 52 year old brother to Colon Cancer, while my uncle began battling a pulmonary condition. He needs 5 litres of oxgen 24-7, but we have managed a support system that gives him some quality of life. I was able to buy and install 2 used curved track stair lifts for his home. He now has the ability to get to his car and travel locally, where he was limited to his bed. No matter who you are, we all take many things for granted, and it's unfortunate that it usually takes a terrible event to give us the vision to recognize it. I ordered our Bronco three weeks before my brothers passing. I think it was the last thing he was excited about for us. Life is short, be generous to yourself.

Sean,
I am glad your back home now, those hospitals are full of sick people and not conducive to a healthy lifestyle. Covid is no joke. Let's pray for a full recovery so you can enjoy life.
I agree this build group is the best. Some top level people here, I am happy to be part of it.

As a fellow Houstonian, let me know if I can help with anything. Ill do my best, but as you know, just because we both live in Houston, it doesn't mean we are nearby each other. It is over an hour drive from one side to the other any any given time, not including traffic.

Looking forward to some pictures upon delivery.

So glad to hear that you are on the upside of your battle. Praying that everyday God heals you more and more and that you are restored to your full health.

Took the day off of school to take my kids to the dentist, figured I might as well give her a bath while I'm off. She cleans up pretty nicely. Next weekend she's getting a full detail next weekend
First install were the Gear America Shackles (super easy). Isolators should be here today, but I must say, I haven't heard any sounds from them.
Waiting on the following to arrive so I can install:
Zroadz Rock Slider Side Steps
Rider Graphix Retro Stripe
M&R Fog Lights
KR Offroad License Plate Bracket
JCR Offroad Tailgate Table

I love this thing! She is so easy to drive. The soft top is very quiet as well as the tires. It is well worth the wait. I hope all those still waiting will begin getting "good" updates very soon!

Thank you brother, yeah, I think you are out west and I’m in the Heights. I’m gonna make sure when I get all better I’m gonna get us locals together for lunch and a beer/water/topo Chico!!
