I’m looking for some help acquiring a full set of base flares and bumper caps for my Sas BL. I asked at my local dealer and was told that parts had to be ordered based on my VIN and since my VIN is Sas, I wouldn’t be allowed to purchase base flares. Something about his story didn’t sit quite right, so I turn to the forums. Is it possible to simply purchase base flares & bumper caps from ford?

Badlands with factory flares. Should be same as base. This is a two door vin. I don’t think it would be different then a four door.

I will recomend to go to another dealer and just tell them to give the part number.

Having that you will be able to do a search on google and you will find severals dealers with good discounts.

Whenever you have it, please share it in the forum.

I would love to know that as well.

The fronts are more than the rears for some reason. 39 is driver and 38 is passenger. Ruxer should have sets available.

Exactly what I was looking for. Would you be able to find the number for the bumper caps? I’ve seen them mentioned on YouTube for $27

Are you referring to the plastic parts on top of the metal rear bumper?

The top photo is the rear quarter of a Sasquatch Badlands from Ford’s build & price. The lower is a standard Big Bend. Notice the extra plastic bit on the Sasquatch to match the wider fenders. This is the part that needs to also be replaced

Why do you want the extra plastic bit if you’re replacing with base flares? Won’t it stick out?

It’s the opposite of that. I have bumper caps with the extra piece to match the SAS flares. If I get standard flares, I’ll have to get standard caps as well

Ah, I see. I didn’t realize that piece changes out. I just thought it was an extra part bolted on for sas.
