I'm thinking my next step is to call Ford and my dealer and see if they have any sort of rail tracker update. Just curious if anyone on here is in the same situation but saw their EDD come back to FEB or MAR.
I got bumped from 3/3 to 5/31 and then was put back to 3/6. Then I switched to built 24 hours later. But no ship notification yet. but I’m relieved to have any movement. I want to see everyone getting something ASAP. The not knowing limbo is torture.

That is what I am getting. They have a LTE version. Just have to get the sim card

I am happy to hear about that happening to people. With no production this week maybe they will knock a bunch of from this build week out. Fingers crossed.

Let me preface this with, I don’t know anything about logistics, but that sounds completely ridiculous. I could see it sitting at the dealership until a module gets sent to them to install before you can take ownership, but no way it’s made it to your local rail yard and will just sit there because of chips. Local truck shortage, maybe. Is the idea ford will outsource mechanics to work on trucks at the rail yard? That makes no sense
I know a little about logistics and manufacturing, you are 100% correct. There is little nearly zero chance this is correct.

Don’t think they are much. Just have to get a data plan. Typically like $20/ month
Depending on your carrier and how much data you want, could be as little as $5/month.

My dealer just told me even tho it's shipped, it's still on a chip hold and it will stay at the rail yard here in San Antonio until it gets the required chips. He said he has about 4 there waiting already. Anybody heard of that? 😳

WHAT!!?

Has anyone had the EDD pushed to May then moved back to February or seen their status switch to built and shipped with a May EDD?
Im an original 1/28 blend, 1289/2270 with a 2/26 delivery date pushed to 5/26 after going into production

I moved to “built” on 2/2 and now Shipped on 2/9.

Now the bad part is even though the 1-800 number says the chip hold was removed and my dealer says it shows no chip hold and in transit, my delivery date still says 5/26.

Seems like no one really knows what is going on with my current situation.

Did you get an updated delivery date or is it still three months out?

I believe it was Wednesday night that edd went to 2/28. Then Thursday morning status went Built. No change since then except tonight its status is Shipped. I had thought I would have gone to shipped on Friday and been on the train with a couple other Atlanta-bound. Don’t know if I missed that train, or if it just took awhile for the system to update. I’ll text my dealer tomorrow.

Are you talking about the navigation plan? Or Ford Connect or whatever? I think I got a year of that with Liz package. So you’re saying you just buy a sim add on plan (like adding a cellular Apple Watch to your plan) once the promotional period runs out?
