Picked up this beauty last night! I LOVE IT! The finance guy told me that people had been coming in looking at it and making offers all day. Went and picked her up a soon as I could leave school (which wasn't fast enough). Joe Myers Ford was amazing to work with. No markups, no surprises, great experience. It is so fun to drive! First stop, Chick-fil-a.

Seriously, two days ago I was bumped to 2/20, just looked again now at 3/2. I swear Ford just draws random dates out of the hat that mean absolutely nothing. [..]
Yep, after yesterday's bump, I am convinced Ford is just using a toy spinner.

I've been reading that alot have been running 91 or 93 not 87.. what is everyone planning on using on here when they receive theirs? I'm just wondering if running that high grade right away have been the reason the 2.7s have been messing up? Don't quote me on it I'm just rambling lol
I read that if you have over a 9.3 compression ratio that its "in your best ratio to never run less than 87,and you should run 91-93,BUT.... some believe while you get better MPG, it's not worth it for the 4% increase in power and mileage for the cost. I am meeting with the dealer tomorrow for a discussion on this.

I am trying to remain positive here, but why in the world am I still stuck in production, keep getting bumped but yet I have repeatedly been told I really am built and passed QC. I am not on hold for anything either. I honestly believe mine is lost in those rows and rows at ice mountain so they just keep making up dates.
We seem to be twins. Our dates jump the same time to the same date.

Picked it up yesterday! Now the shopping starts! First item on the list, some rock sliders so my better 1/2 can get in easier.

So you got both steps and rocker trail armor? I heard there's a version of the latter that can double as step, yes?

Haha good luck. I would not believe the dealer either way. They don’t really know much from my experience. Maybe the mechanics but honestly I think most dealers would prefer mechanics that don’t think and just follow instructions.

Ours are probably sitting together in one of those rows!
Right! Hopefully having a snowball fight.

Yeah I’m kinda mad that they are just sitting outside. I baby my cars. They always get hand washed and parked in the garage. I think Ford should have to pay to paint correct these ones that are sitting outside for weeks/ months. I also worry about salt exposure up there. When I lived in Ohio most of my life. I remember how bad cars rusted from the salt on the roads.

I honestly think they need to give another 20k in ford pass points to people stuck now. It’s not okay that they build cars in future weeks and deliver them and leave the earlier weeks to sit missing something or nothing, who knows. Makes no sense and it’s frustrating. My bronco excitement meter is about empty at this point. Okay back to my ice cream. Lol

Not to be confused with rock sliders. The trail armor is just plastic.

I'll sort it out when "Steamboat" gets here and if I have trouble climbing in. For now, I'm holding off on extras. It felt like putting the cart before the horse (or the cup before the cart) to even order the First Batch tumbler, which gets here tom'w, days ahead of the truck.
