My pizza tracker finally just updated to 5/31 for mine. Originally a 1/24 build week.

As mentioned the second half of January build week threads as well as the ice mountain thread has talked about this a lot. Most everyone is getting the microchip hold status and May deliveries. Ford stopped or slowed 8 plants this week. However, there are some reports of people getting shipped and delivered status that were very recently told Chip Hold until May. One should be picking his up today with an edd of May. Here’s to hope🍻

Normally wouldn't take up for Ford in this mess. But they have no control over the shortage of microchips and its affecting every manufacturer in the car industry and other industries as well.

Should be watching the news. Even govt officials are saying this could plague manufacturers for another two years or more.

it's gonna be a problem for a good, long while.

only problem is i'm on the jeep forums too and most of those new orders are being delivered in 2-3 months, and jeep chat will tell the buyers they are just waiting on all the parts to be acquired. And once acquired they give the build date which doesn't change. So yes chips are definitely playing a roll in delivery delays but i think this is also on ford as well for keeping EVERYBODY in the dark on any information on their purchase

They have control over telling us that they will only build our vehicles when they have all the parts for them, then building them, and then completely BSing a delivery date only to move it back 3 months.

My Bronco has been in Production mode for 3 weeks now. So I reached out to my dealer and the info he has is that my bronco is 95% built but is on a Micro-chip hold until 5/25/22
Sorry I don't see your build specs? When dropping good info as you are, please provide your build specs so the rest of us can compare information.

Many of us have them in our signature - thanks for the update and best of luck!!

Did they say which module is holding up the build? I'm thinking my Bronco is held up because of the Tow Package. This would be the TTM Module. (Trailer Tow Module)

Your Bronco has about 30 modules so it could be any of them causing the delay.
The rumor was IPC (Instrument Panel Cluster).

The issue was a batch of modules came in with bad chips ... this is not a chip shortage issue per se ... they updated you when they found out about the bad chips in the module.

Well that really blows man, but at this point, at least you are getting updates, even if they are crappy ones! Your still closer than me on getting you butt in the driver seat. The good news is, you have a few more months of savings :)

there are two things, first here in detroit the canadian truckers are blocking the bridge to canada to protest covid shots. So they said thousands of trucks with auto parts are stuck in that. Second those pictures of ice moutain, they had the hoods open on the broncos which limits down what modules are missing. Means PCM (engine module) or some other critical module for the engine. There were rumors in chicago ford was short radios for explorer/aviator

I feel for all of you in this situation, its the same as it was for us last year. I was rescheduled 5 times before it finally happened Oct 27, I took delivery Dec 1. If any of you poor souls are in the 4 corners area around Durango and want to spend some time in a functioning BD with working 2.7 and MIC 2.0 :)oops:), drop me a message and I will treat you to some fun!
