I can assure you it’s true ..you got ripped off. Why are you paying for a repair when it’s the shippers problem?

I have seen 2-3 reports of estimates on hard tops and all were $6500+. Good luck on getting one for $4k- especially right now. This isn’t “my buddy said”. This is actually what had to be paid to get one.

Starting retail prices for the following models are:

- One Piece Top: $5,250
- Modular Top: $5,750

Pre-orders will be accepted starting on February 28th at 4PM PST. ALL ORDERS MUST BE PLACED ON OUR WEBSITE.

For all of those that are subscribed to our “Bronco Newsletter” list, they will get the order link an hour earlier before it’s live on our website.

We are sending out an email (to the “Bronco Newsletter” list) to collect an estimated amount of tops that will be pre-ordered to provide an accurate production timeline. That timeline will be announced on 2/28 for all customers that are interested in the hardtop.

Yup, give it a few years and a few competitors. I'll pull the trigger once I see some long term reviews and the initial surge of demand is over.

This makes me glad I am holding strong for the factory hardtop. If you check the box its like a 6 or 700 dollar item. But to pay 6 or 7 grand after the fact is tough. Now I can buy a new $1500 bestop soft top (with free shipping) that looks better than the factory soft top and has flat side windows (wavy side windows is unacceptable in modern production standards). I feel sorry for those that Ford convinced to drop something they really wanted so they could sell it to them later at a higher price.

Maybe this will change once MIC tops are actually available to purchase (which they’re not currently), but this is what it’s actually costing people to get them replaced.

But you didn't pay 7500 to have it fixed, the shipper did. It's like going to the doctor/hospital for routine, they charge $500 but if it is covered by insurance they settle for $100

• MIC 2.0 Hard Top replacement kit - M2DZ-7850196-AB
• RH quarter glass - M2DZ-7829700-A
• LH quarter glass - M2DZ-7829701-A
• Rear glass - M2DZ-7842006-A

Important to note that my list above does NOT include the wiper, wiper motors, gas struts for the rear glass, mounting hardware, etc. But if you just look at the prices for just those 4 components, you're already around $6000. And that doesn't include the installation cost for the quarter glass.

to many question for me, $5250 is a LOT to pay blindly for a roof I've never seen in person. Plus I want some independent reviews on its quality and how it compares on the road with noise levels compared to the factory roof. Plus I want my roof installed by professionals, if so whats that going to cost? And who could do the install? For that price I'll keep my soft top until 2023 and see what Ford charges for the MOD roof if I want to buy just the roof.. Or if Bronco availability goes to normal in 2023 just order a new one with a MIC/MOD top and trade my 2021 in.

Yes- that is what I was looking for. Good luck getting one for $4k.
I’d pay for this new hardtop at this price than $6k+ for a leaky, rattling, snake-skinning, skin shearing, delaminating MIC top.
