Why wouldn't it?

The whole point of getting a hard top for me would be to take it through a harsh automatic car wash in winter to get salt off the car.

I’d feel really stupid if I didn’t get confirmation from the manufacturer, bought the top, and then found out that you couldn’t for one reason or another.

I always get burned when I assume something (e.g. it must be fine because it’s fiberglass). I guess you have better luck than me.

I’m quite certain ADV would not be going through all this trouble to produce a hard top that couldn’t stand up to a car wash. Now, Webasto, on the other hand…

The difference though is Ford provides the warranty on the Webasto top. That means if it comes with the Bronco, it falls under the 3 year 32k warranty. The ADV may or may lot have a lot of fine print in their warranty.

I can appreciate a quality product and the prices that go along with it, but I think this one is going to come in much higher than most are thinking. Should have told people the price 6 weeks ago!

I think you're probably right about it being more expensive than people think. I was just speaking with my dealer today about getting my MIC top painted and he said it would be an additional $6k just for paint. He did say a lot of the cost went into the labor of sanding the top down before paint. This top seems better quality and better design, so expect it wont be cheap.

A thought I had - and it may have been shared before.

It will really help to convince myself and others if we can get some interior sound decibel readings once you have a production ready top to test.

If its even marginally quieter than the soft top I'd be in lol
