I wish... start loading all the accessories on it while its sittin'.any way ford may decide to ship the unfinished broncos and distribute the installation of chips as they become available? i'd feel so much better being able to go visit my baby, give her blanket, and know she's not freezing to death. I think GM did this last year

Pal, I see you've been a member of the forum for about a minute. There is a ton of speculation, bad info, my dealer said, the 1-800 person said BS on here that sometimes turns out to be true, sometimes not. My point was and is, wait for the official announcement and don't believe everything you are told. I don't assume anything with Ford, been waiting on this Bronco a year and a half and you wouldn't believe some of the stuff i've been told. If I "assumed" anything I would either already have 50k miles on it or never get it b/c they canceled the project altogether.I get that no one really knows what is up but if over one hundred people from 1/10, 1/17, and 1/24 were all told the same info from dealers and 800 number - chip hold no actual date on when they are coming
I think its safe to assume that is the issue.
Plus there was news a few weeks ago that a big chip manufacturer produced bad chips that post selling them, can't be used.

This is the kind of hopeful thinking I like to see! Anything is possible, but we really need to hear something, anything from FORD!There’s always a chance you guys with blend dates further out may have missed the “bad” chips
I was thinking the same. Ship finished Broncos to the dealers and write a process for them to add the final chip before giving to customer.any way ford may decide to ship the unfinished broncos and distribute the installation of chips as they become available? i'd feel so much better being able to go visit my baby, give her blanket, and know she's not freezing to death. I have the same EDD and am in Richmond as well. Let’s hope for the best. What dealer are you using.Got an EDD overnight. Blend date 01/28, mods popped 02/02, EDD 02/23/22/ to VA.
looks like this was discussed in July for the Rangers. Not sure if they ever implemented it. Seems like a lot of positives. One downside I'd speculate is insurance; ford still owns them until the chip is installed, and does their insurance cover their property while sitting all over the country?I was thinking the same. Went and double checked. They didn't schedule anything this week. I thought I had read they were slowing down a bit, but can't find that thread anymore, so could have imagined it.Says who?
Richmond Ford West. Promised no ADM. Getting full PPF and ceramic window tint rolled in. Yourself?I have the same EDD and am in Richmond as well. Let’s hope for the best. What dealer are you using.
that is a good find. Too good to be true and i imagine the wheels of the machine are too slow to help ours out this way. But it wouldn’t be impossible!looks like this was discussed in July for the Rangers. Not sure if they ever implemented it. Seems like a lot of positives. another big win is the vehicles are in transit when they otherwise would be sitting. gets them off of ford's books quicker I'd think.

Got it. They weren't scheduled to schedule this week. If semi-normal cadence occurs this month, scheduling likely won't happen until at least the week of the 14th, maybe even the week of the 21st. However, as we know nothing is semi-normal anymore.Went and double checked. They didn't schedule anything this week. I thought I had read they were slowing down a bit, but can't find that thread anymore, so could have imagined it.
