I agree. How do you not know your headed for that kind of issue when you are producing something at this scale. Highly unlikely it was a last minute surprise or not at least some kind if high risk item.

“F” 4th Quarter earnings come out today..Will be interesting what their guidance will be knowing trucks will be sitting through the next quarter!

I almost did that, but figured I’d just wait. Was thinking the same again last night with all of this going on. I’m waiting on the phone inevitable bump. Still showing 2/17 this morning but imagine they are catching up to me.

I don't have time to go thru it all, but have they found any correlation into the Broncos with delayed deliveries? Same engine, same upgrades, MIC vs Soft etc? I am still holding at 2/26 EDD and am wondering if this will eventually get every single one of us or if they are somehow only affecting a portion of us? Our spreadsheet only shows a fraction of us with delays, but maybe it just isn't updated...

You’re behind me in blend and rotation, I think the wave is coming for us. Mine hasn’t changed yet either but am sure it’s inevitable.

I just called…again and no chip hold for me yet. I’m betting it’s coming though. She also told me they’re basically just as clueless to the situation as we are. 🥲

edit: we need an option on the spreadsheet under chip hold that says ‘not yet’ lol

I have another order with a blend date of 2/1. Nobody in that week has seen any movement at all.

I have a friend that has a July 2020 reservation and placed an order for a 2nd one few months ago that was scheduled in 3 months, still doesn't have a date for her 7/20 reservation yet...

I have been avoiding saying it because I know the second I hit "post" my tracker is going to change to May 24, but I am refreshing every 10 minutes or so all day and tracker has held at 2/23.

Changed at 3:24AM...and no I wasn't up all night clicking refresh...I have bots for that.

I have cheapest base bronco you can get and it’s delayed. Person on the phone said it’s all the chips they got which is thousands per car that are bad. There are no parts shortage right now just no chips for all January cars that haven’t shipped yet

I have learned thru this process that you 100% absolutely can not trust anything the 1-800 number people or the people at the dealership tell you.... They told me yesterday at 5 there was no chip shortage. They are in the dark just as much as we are, maybe more. They may be right, but I'll wait to hear it from the Ford Mgmt. team.

Thousands per car and all bad…Wow. No idea how they can do that quickly and effectively with the vehicles in lots and such. We are frustrated but think of the workers who may have hours reduced while waiting on the chips too. Tough all the way around.

No need to get mad at me! I am just repeating what me and tens of people on this forum heard from their dealer and the 800 number. I called yesterday at 1pm my dealer and the 800 number and everyone said no chip hold. When I called at 5pm they said they are rescheduling in waves and it now shows the chip hold. I was 1/25 blend and got all my mods and tear tag and everything last Wednesday. It is definitely a chip hold.
