Noob question: What “app” are you referencing and how do I get it?
Ford Pass app. Download and create a profile. Add your VIN and once your mods pop you will eventually get the activate button. It won't work yet as the car still needs to be activated at the dealer I believe but still is a sign of progress.

I’m going to remain cautiously optimistic, but my tear tag updated this morning and my EDD updated to 2/27 as of about 10 minutes. Prior to that we had a TBD delivery date. Still showing in production on the pizza tracker, though.

That said, he did confirm they are getting MY2022 delivered before MY2021 which remain at MAP for one reason or another.
Im starting to think Ford just has this graveyard of new Broncos waiting on a part or two. And every time a new allocation of parts comes in it’s directed to the assembly line to keep it running rather than using the parts to get the backlog shipped. Shit show confirmed either way.

Whole thing is odd to me. Clearly many of us have built vehicles as evidenced by mods turning on. And if chips are a problem that pushes January builds to be completed/delivered in May, will Feb-May builds face the same issue? How big is this parking lot for unfinished Broncos (and Rangers?). I’m still showing 2/18 edd.

Anyway, here’s Wonderwall…

Yes I agree. In many ways I think those who were forced to order MY2022's may just be lucky in that sense.

They have a WHOLE staff that sits and takes calls...ALL DAY. You know how easy it would be to do a mass communication to people? EASY. I work with a group of people that do only that all day. Three people, who communicate to thousands of people via mass emails and text. They could easily fix that. No excuses.

Not what most want to hear, but in terms of communication on this subject, you're sort of damned if you do, damned if you don't. With all of the "outrage" on this rollout, I'd wonder if it actually would be worse if Ford had to say outright that the delays would be longer.

THe other point to consider though, is something that businesses are practically required to do for their own survival: overcommit. There will always be unforeseen challenges and problems (in this case, commodity constraints, design malfunctions, global pandemic, labor shortages, etc - perfect storm). Sometimes during these periods of intense challenges, you just have to plow ahead and complete the product that you can at the given time, while keeping the backend of the pipeline going all at once. The only other option would be to halt your entire operation, creating greater delays in the long run and costing everyone more money and heartache.

Totally agree. But I have always had the belief that you own your sh*t and move on. Figure out how you can move forward. Is it all Ford's fault, nope. Not even in the slightest. But what they can control is how they treat their customers in the mean time. "you know what, we know you are all waiting for your Bronco's. Here is the game plan:... If that doesn't work we're going to do xyz" Rather than leaving people hanging since the beginning of December that have zero answers....

Okay I am off my soapbox now lol

Got a build date this about an hour ago (2/26 estimated delivery), now it just shows as TBD and "in production" no longer has a date. Cleared cache and looked at incognito mode on Chrome and still shows TBD. Hopefully just a browser issue and not a sign of what's happening to prior groups.
