I will get the Nano Coating for sure, but probably not the PPF.
I will have the paint inspected and get their recommendation on any corrections, but to my eye, it is as close to perfect as I have seen.
While I like the idea of PPF I am not convinced it is what I want.
I really like to use my hands on the paint/clearcoat to find any imperfections.
We shall see.. I am supposed to bring it by next week to a shop, but the wife might not let me.
Same. Getting the nano. Undecided on PPF, need to research. Are you doing the roof and windows, too?

Might have to give your wife knock-out drops and carnap her Bronco in the dead of night.

Sunday evening report.

I spent the better part of the day removing rail dust and contaminates from the paint.
It was a mess. I usually use Iron-X but didn't have any so I bought this and it worked perfect.

https://www.meguiars.com/profession...-clay-industrial-fallout-iron-remover-without

Lots of videos out there on how to do this, but it really isn't hard just time consuming.

After that, we pulled off the tops to get them cleaned and detailed.
Complete interior cleaning and removal of all window stickers and tags left from delivery. (my choice)

Then the wife and I went on a road trip so she could get used to "her new Bronco" :(

We found a neat wall mural and pulled around back to take a few pictures, but way too much traffic to do much.

Do you still use a clay bar with the Spray Clay, or it's not necessary?

My initial thoughts on the Roof panels is no, but I will let the shop decide on that. The windows maybe, but not the windshield.
They really are pushing me on the PPF for the front panels.

I will also get the side windows tinted.
I also have the Retro Stipes to get installed when the do the work.

The list is never ending.

Usually it is a 2 day stay at the Car Spa to get work done, so it would have to be a mighty strong drop. :) but I like the way you think.

My best google skills tell me this is a vehicle dynamics module
Not sure if this was posted yet but I figured throw it out here and add a question:

The VDM gathers vehicle suspension height information from the four height sensors. Since the module is connected to the high-speed CAN network, other information like brake pedal and steering angle can is correlated with the height sensor data. With the data, the VDM has a complete picture of the vehicle’s dynamics like heave, roll, pitch, cornering, braking, and acceleration.

Seems like a ride height control thing to me.

I did not use the clay bar.
I wanted to but I will get the professionals opinion first.
Clay bar means a new wax coat so I am not sure I want to do that yet.
I went over the paint pretty thoroughly and felt good about it.

So on a lighter note now that I am part of the purgatory team I decided to create a Bronco Purgatory shrine in my basement office. Please excuse the spackle we are going to paint this week and I couldn't wait to get the shrine up and running so I could please the Bronco Gods sooner rather than later :)

Nope. 11 = eleven = November. Possibly there is a person who is posting in that group w/o really having that build week.
I dont think they have scheduled out beyond March yet.

Not that we need another thing to track. But has anyone looked at this tracker? I found it in a different thread. When I punch my vin in it does show “null” under vdm 721. So maybe it is missing a chip even though I have never been told that. You have to click on view PTI and then click on the blue bar that says:
PTI related Electronic Control Units Installed on this VIN

https://www.etis.ford.com/vehicleSelection.do

I’d be curious to know if anyone’s that has shipped shows null too. So maybe it means nothing.

Gosh I hope not. they really need to finish what they started before cramming more into the assembly line. I don't know... just seems like common sense to me
Right! Why build more and give them the missing pieces and leave the previous build weeks sitting.

Ah, so it's the module that controls the Wayback Machine.
