weekend update- still stranded in the rail yard in Pennsylvania for the past 8 days or so. The snow is coming down, we are getting 18” in total.. I’m sure this will delay trucking even more. Would have been awesome to have her for the blizzard. Oh well, there will be plenty more snowstorms.

Insurance question: why would I buy a policy now from Flood or dealer when the truck comes with a 3y/36K coverage. Wouldn't I wait til that about runs out and then get the extended??

Great question. You do it now because it's cheaper now. But it can be bought later and sometimes buying this vehicle is a financial stress at the moment.

Thanks. I'm still stumped. I ran the numbers for What If <1 year (1st table) and What if almost 3 years. (2nd table). The price for a 3 yo car isn't all that much less. (Tho, of course it will be more 3y from now!) So if I can go almost 3y on the premium that comes standard, and not pay an additional premium, the question is still, why not wait?
