From looking at the purgatory tab in the spreadsheet, it looks like most of us in purgatory have tow. But there have been many Broncos from our build week and following build weeks with tow that have been built and shipped, so who knows?

HE'S HEEEERE!!! I got this email from United Road tracking this morning. My dealer texted me a few minutes later saying it'll be offloaded around noon, and to expect a phone call!!
It's being taken to their partnership auto garage for some mods, so I can't have it yet, but HE'S HERE!!
Definitely stopping by after work to grab some photos and maybe give him a lil' test drive

Picked mine up yesterday at Gullo Ford in Conroe. Because I financed it, had to sit through the sales pitch for all the add-ons in Finance Mgr office. Asked him to meet the Flood price and he couldn't. Also, glad I had my interest rate settled before I walked in because they quoted me 1% higher. Finance then met my number. Daryle Nelson, Fleet/Internet manager made the transaction quick and easy otherwise -- second car I've bought through him.

Initial impressions:

1. Eruption Green is way better in person than I expected. It's not 90's Toyota Camry green but more Masters golf green. The metallic paint is stunning.

2. The 2.7 is plenty powerful and I'm surprised at how nice it pulls from a stop. Gearing and low end torque is tuned nicely for city.

3. Cruised home down I-45 to Hardy Toll Road at 80-85 with no problems at all. Yes it's loud but not THAT loud. Steering is spot on and stable at speed even with Sasquatch.

4. Got a rock chip in window at about 11 miles on the odometer.

5. B&O stereo, SYNC4, Wireless Car Play -- all work flawlessly. B&O is plenty loud enough to drown out wind noise.

6. Removing OBX running boards today. They're worthless and get in the way.

7. Love the painted mirrors and black grille/white letters on OBX pkg.

Attaching a few pictures from yesterday/this morning. Glad I waited and did not pull the trigger on the Defender 110. Was *thisclose* to buying it. I would have regretted not seeing this through to the end.

You win. My windshield chip happened at mile 48.

Not at all. I think that goes for any Bronco though. I am now a celebrity at work. The VP of our company, who never converses with the peasants like me, asked me to show it to him and spent 30 mins talking to me about it.

Talked to Ford CS AGAIN… still sitting at MAP waiting for a truck, has been for two weeks now… original estimated delivery of 1/22-1/27, then pushed to 1/30. It is still showing 1/30 on my end, but the lovely lady at Ford informed me I’ve been pushed to 2/2-2/8… The communication is horrible, and I’ve promised myself I’m going to stop tracking/calling and that lasted for a while half day…

That must be frustrating to have the date moved around. I feel like im the only one who had such a pushed out EDD. Mine has been 2/10 since production week. I feel like they just make up random numbers and hope for the best, lol.

I agree! They just throw out numbers and hope for the best!

My dealer just sent me an email saying that we are in the window for expected delivery and it should be delivered on the 3rd!!!

So I broke down and called customer service yet again. Despite the fact that I was told a week ago that my Bronco was built and had been built for a little bit, Crystal told me that it just was finished being produced and may go out any time between today and 2/1, but she couldn’t guarantee that Of course you can’t, since no one even seems to know when the stupid thing was built! My EDD is 2/1 and it never changes but if it isn’t even shipping to then, kinda thinking that day will come and go

My latest automated response from CSX was that my train car was bad ordered at its final destination... Any idea what that means???

In railroad speak, a bad order car is damaged and cannot be moved without inspection and possibly repair. They've likely put it aside till someone can fix. The good news is that the railroads are well staffed and this shouldnt be that long a delay especially w/ a car carrier filled with a few hundred thousand dollars of cars
