I’ve been hoping somebody would make this top since I saw a render a few months back. I would happily wait another 18 months if that’s what it took. Soft top has done well in winter, so far, summer will be even better. I am in no rush for a hardtop, excited for a few options to pop up in the next couple years

I've had my Defender since early September. No issues. How're those 2.7's working out? ;)

Just kidding, of course.

On-topic, I like this top. I wasn't trying to get a Bronco for the removable top, so something like this would have been great. With the dogs in the Defender, we refer to those smaller top windows as "snout portals". 😁 Now, if we can just get Ford to lux up the interior a bit more and add in all the fancy tech features I like, I can trade back for the Bronco that I would have waited until this week to get (let the dealer have it).
Haha, well thankfully I ordered a 2.3 because I want a manual transmission. I did look at defenders. The bare minimum price plus options was $67k for a 2 door built to the way I wanted. My friend had one for 7 months, it spent 4 months in the shop.... I have heard they fixed a lot of first year issues though.

And you are right, I do not really plan on removing my top either. I would have been happy with a fixed top, but no one makes a 2 door off road SUV. Thankfully I like bare bone cars like my Suzuki. haha I have a benz and town car for when I wanna be classy... :p

If Ford would have offered the 2.7 with a manual, I'd have still waited out the delays! 😁 I still like the Bronco, which is why I stick around - very curious to see what's in the works for future models, plus the aftermarket!

You're correct about early / first year new Defenders, btw - I'd avoid the 2020's.
