Don’t want to be a jerk but if you have any documentation you should hire a lawyer and sue the Chevy out of them.

we can’t help like $&it house Attorny can.
I need some help/advise. I was a night one early reservation and chose a First Edition. I got the email from Ford about it being built. Given all the delays I figured it would take 4-6 weeks before it showed up to my dealer. I decided to call and check on it and found out they sold my Bronco. No notification it arrived or even trying to tack on an ADM. They just sold it. The dealership recently had a change in staff at the general manager level who was the one I did everything through and they blamed it on that

Contact Ford CS and get an attorney. Bottom line, your dealer fucked up. Nearly all Bronco are customer ordered vehicles they should have known and even checked. I'm sure there was something that let them know it was a special order.

Like they say, get an attorney, inform ford, and sue them. If you ducks are in a row, should be an easy case.

I would request a bronco raptor at MSRP minus the mark up they put on the FE, and pain & suffering; so it should only cost you like 20k ;). Also, ensure ford is a part of it, try and get their allocations ripped from them. Don’t forget to contact your local news team, post on yelp/google, and let all the B6G know the dealerships name.

p.s. don’t forget to include free oil changes for life. 😂

Maybe I'm wrong, but this sounds like a troll post. OP comes in, drops off a bomb like this then disappears without giving any specifics.

Not buying it. I don't see how GM level change would cause this to happen. Orders are tracked on these wonderful things we call computers. Unless the GM wiped out the IT systems when he or she left this is bullshit. Get the dealership to put this in writing and then contact Ford.

The dealer saw an opportunity to sell an FE (that did not even cost an allocation as they are tied to the FE's, so...literally zero cost, opportunity or otherwise, to the dealership to get it) and appears to have decided to sell it without notice to avoid any hassles from the person who trusted them to be ethical. That about right? Asking Ford to lecture their dealer customer on ethics (it's Ford we are talking about here, mind you) is not much of a plan.

Sad, but not surprised to hear of your loss.

...

Ultimately this is why not 100% of all Broncos are made in reservation order, having some ability to "make it right" is bound to happen and be necessary.
Just so we all understand your position, let's recap; Ford decided to not build in order because they presumably assumed their policies would lead to dealers selling First Editions (and other Broncos) without regard to reservations at all and thus Ford would need to be able to build a replacement. That about sum it up, a 'pre-reaction' to future dealer fuckery?

One point of your hypothesis could use some clarification though, how does building out of order actually make it easier to add or reallocate a single vehicle to the schedule?

4-6 weeks from when? Your build date? Most are getting in about 2 weeks from build date.
Did you think of contacting them any earlier? That's the part I'm not understanding here. Everyone has waited so long that I'm sure once they see a build date they are all over their dealer.
Maybe others have some worthwhile advice, but I don't see you as having much recourse at this point. Sorry.
Most normal folks are not all over their dealer when they get a build date. Most might be curious when they get a ship date or an ETA on delivery date. Look, it is pretty basic here; The OP (claims, it could be a troll, but let's go with it being real) that they got an email about production, then the emails stopped. No ship date, no ETA, nothing, no notification from the dealer. It is almost like the dealer changed the email from the OP to the dealership when the production notice came up and intercepted those other notifications. Then forgot to notify the OP when it came in. Nothing intentional or underhanded to see here, not planned 50 days ago, all a coincidence.

Blaming a person because you don't 'understand' why someone would wait for a notice that it was shipped or arrived before wasting their time bothering to call their dealer on it is a little goofy. I am sure you believe you are the standard of what 'normal' is, however most adults do not chant "Are we there yet?" over and over again on the Bronco journey.

And getting delivery within 2 weeks of the build notice? I would think that maybe a few hundred people a year get it that fast, no way 'most' get it. Six weeks is not unreasonable for most geographic locations in the USA (in fact, it is probably pretty good in some of them with the current transportation climate)

My Badlands was built on 12/3/2021 and shipped 12/13/2021. It is currently at the Miami Hub waiting to be unloaded and put on a truck to bring it to my dealership, and has been since 12/27/2021... 4-6 sounds about right from where I live.

Wow, put me in my place big man 😕

Though I don't recall blaming OP for loosing his car. If anything maybe lazy for not keeping tabs on a large purchase, but hey, that's not my problem.

Nor do I recall stating I was normal. Far from it actually. But hey again, that's your problem if my words offend you in such a way.

And lastly, I got mine within 2 weeks of build date. Hell quite a few I've seen on the east coast had the same luck. Guess we just have better luck than you huh?

That's all. 😁 I'll let you go back to being the adult here.

What?

Don't get me wrong. If I got the email, like you said, I'd call the dealer ASAP.

But, that's just me. It's not the customer's job or responsibility to contact the dealer. It's the dealer's job to notify the customer once the rig lands.

They knew it belonged to someone bc it's an FE.

This is a pretty straightforward fuck up by the dealer and he should be taken care of and beyond.
