If memory serves, the lower the percentage the worse the constraint is, I could be wrong about this part, but I think it’s something like for advance 4x4 they only have enough of that part to cover 70% of the people who ordered it. PPF has been the worst for a while now, I can’t imagine if someone had a non-communicative dealer and had been waiting for months for a build that would have been scheduled already if they just dropped the PPF.Hey Tom @DealerInsider Could you explain what the percentages mean. Some dealers just don't care. They take your order and just wait for it to play out. They don't care if you get scheduled next week or next year.If memory serves, the lower the percentage the worse the constraint is, I could be wrong about this part, but I think it’s something like for advance 4x4 they only have enough of that part to cover 70% of the people who ordered it. It really doesn't make sense. I mean there are less doors to worry about. Should be easier to build. LOLIf Ford has such a hard time producing 2 doors, why bother offering it. Shame on me, I probably should have switched to 4 door when I had the chance.
I refuse to switch, just hold on and keep rolling the dice. Although it does get old watching everyone with later timestamps getting there Broncos. So I do get it, I have been tempted. I just don't want to make a decision that I'll regret later. If Ford has such a hard time producing 2 doors, why bother offering it. I'm in the exact same position as you. Concerned that my lease buy back will end b4 I see my order. Really upset about how Ford has handled and used us.I have a Gladiator 18 month buyback lease from Tom that I just got last month. that gives Ford 17 months to figure their life out and still keep me as a customer. If my buyback runs out and I don't have my Bronco (which seems extremely likely at this point) then I'm done with Ford. For good.
I'm in the same boat as you however I took advantage of Tom's jeep offer had It shipped. My plan was to drive it to Tom and pick up the new Bronco but I think my 15 mo lease is going to clock b4 that will happenDefinitely considered this but my plan was to fly out from MA to PA for the Bronco so just not sure I want to do that twice, but will definitely consider it. I wish I had a dealer as transparent/honest around me that was so easy to work with.
I think once Ford catches up to most of the reservation holders they'll turn to get the rest of the orders which includes Chapman. If you don't see more allocation to Chapman by third quarter, I would be surprised.I'm in the exact same position as you. Concerned that my lease buy back will end b4 I see my order. Get a load of this! I thought I posted before I left the office. I talked to a dealer. I'm looking for a Bronco on a lot(unicorn!). I talked to a dealer that had a couple. I commented on how it seems like he had a lot on his lot. I asked if they had a lot of canceled orders. He said they had their employees all place orders! WTF and of course the are charging $15k adm on all of them. Sneaky dealer!
