Monday Update
Sales Manager just called me to let me know the Bronco has arrived onsite and will be ready to pick up tomorrow.

We went over my list of demands and my OCD list.

He was ok with my demands but says they cant really do the checklist but will give me 24 hours to complete the list them after delivery and then they will make right anything that is needed.
He said any of the known mechanical issues will be addressed in their pre delivery inspection.
He did say he was going to keep this list for future reference for his team, but that might have been just to make me feel a bit better about it.

It is a ~60 mile trip to the dealership so I have to work it out in my schedule hopefully tomorrow.

Congrats Alvin. We need to gather the Houston area guys and gals and get lunch sometime soon. I hope we will all have our Broncos by the end of March. Also, we expect copious amount of pics.

Today is a bad weather day and we agreed to not rush things.

I am super excited as well.
the wife is not going to work until after lunch tomorrow so we can pick it up.

Fantastic! All very reasonable. We will borrow it for sure, if that's OK. I was wondering when and how to mention the price protection rebate. (My understanding is the dealer has to apply to Corporate.)

Did you sign a purchase agreement ahead of time? We keep asking for ours, so we can figure taxes, be aware of any unwanted add-ons. (We have a firm commitment for no ADM.) Have asked twice, were told we could have it, but so far, not rec'd.

Does anyone know which tracker updates to “Delivered” and has the message saying the dealership is preparing it for deliver?

Any insight on what would cause the tracker to update to this status?

I was wondering when and how to mention the price protection rebate. (My understanding is the dealer has to apply to Corporate.)

I called my saleslady and she looked it up on the computer and said it was there ($975 on our BL).

Although, the dealership just called me back and said, oops.. maybe it is not here, there was another Olson that arrived with the same build.

I find that hard to believe, but he said give him an hour to clarify and get back with me.

I suspect it is there, what are the odds of two Olson's with equally great taste.

Dealers have a system called Smart VINCENT that will provide a code to apply to the vehicle for the price protection.

Thanks. I know what the amount is. Just wondering about the timing of the ask. Our sales people have been super with us for the last 18 months and esp the last week. Don't want to come across as adversarial w/ the OCD, even @Alvin Olson 's reasonable demands, etc.
