Other than the date at the bottom going from 1/6 to 1/18, mine appears to be the same. Go figure. Here are the differences I noticed between my two window stickers 1/6 and 1/18:

@texashoya how about you keep the steelies and paint them black on a set of 33's...like these EB. Saves you some cash and later you can always go 35's and install a decent suspension kit.OK, friends...I have some essential decisions to make, and I'm hoping to get your expert input (looking to you, @Cat, since you literally know everything about everything...typical engineer!).
So my Eruption Green 2dr Base has arrived in TX and should be at the dealer in the next 2-5 days. I can have the dealer do some mods right off the bat, which would save time and hassle (if not money), and I can roll those costs into the financing if I want. I had some pretty modest plans originally, but the sales guy has me nearly convinced to do more more more. Which is his job of course.
Originally, I was gonna do:
-- 1" spacer lift
-- keep original 16" Base steelies
-- put on 32" (265/75-16) Falken Wildpeak tires, or possibly 33" 285/75-16
But now he's got me leaning towards:
-- 2.5" spacer lift
-- 17" Pro Comp 69 Vintage Flat Black rims
-- 35" (35/12.5-17) tires
Assuming cost is no issue (which isn't totally the case--I have a spouse to report to), any of y'all 12/20 Build Week buddies have any insight on comfort or performance issues as between these two alternatives?
You are funny! A couple of thoughts:OK, friends...I have some essential decisions to make, and I'm hoping to get your expert input (looking to you, @Cat, since you literally know everything about everything...typical engineer!).

I just checked Ford tracker to ck for my WS, but site not working...don't expect much from Ford. Back to workYou sure? Check again. I had a few noticeable differences
That green is marvelous!!The color looks great in the sun!
Who are you using? I’m in the Nashville area and plan to get this done also.Just wanted to let you know that I found a local place that just does powder coating and they quoted me $50 for each ring ($250 total). They sand and then put two coats on it. He says they do off-road rims all of the time and gloss is the best option.
Same here. Nothing changed other then the dateOther than the date at the bottom going from 1/6 to 1/18, mine appears to be the same. Go figure.
I think this is the way…thanks for the $anity check! I was getting a bit overexcited by how close I am to having this thing home at last!@texashoya how about you keep the steelies and paint them black on a set of 33's...like these EB. I think you’re right re: financing through the dealership. Especially bc I can just pay cash for the mods as time goes on, so like why get crazy. Gives me something to tinker with in the months and years to come, which is half the fun.You are funny! A couple of thoughts:
Is your spouse (who you report to) able to get in with a 2.5" lift??
Personally I would never finance options/mods especially to a, "stealership".
I plan on changing out wheels and tires when the stock ones wear out.
Have fun, tho, with whatever your decision is!!
I knew i liked you, Michael!I think you’re right re: financing through the dealership. Especially bc I can just pay cash for the mods as time goes on, so like why get crazy. Gives me something to tinker with in the months and years to come, which is half the fun.
Re: my spouse, well, he has very stubby legs to be honest. Maybe the 2.5” lift would be a lot for what is a vehicle we’ll use a lot (it was a lot for me at 5’11” in the Basesquatch I drove around in at Off-Roadeo, with this salesman, as it happens).
I think @BroncoWar1 has it right…put 33s on the stock steelies, paint the rims black. Probably do a 1” level kit too. Then go bigger later on with a legit lift + new rims/tires later on, if I feel like it.
Thanks for your professional opinion and sanity check![]()
