That's a heart sinking feeling. After hearing so many horror stories on here, I am very grateful for my salesman. I met him on accident I guess you could say when I was referred to someone else at the dealership and he overheard how excited I was when I was talking to her about the truck and he stole me. It's my first new car, and if I didn't have a good salesman I would have probably backed out of this out of fear. But he has kept me in the loop every step of the way and gone above and beyond to reassure me that he has my back with the truck. I'm sorry that your situation is difficult, I would be a bit of a mess if I couldn't find out information and felt like just a number rather than a person.
Iā€˜ve been careful not to be a bother this whole time and have only emailed a few times over the last year or so. But when I emailed the old contact in December and didn’t hear back, my biggest fear was the ADM debacle. So I finally called and spoke to the new GM and then sales mgr who assured me they don’t do business like that. However, when I brought up questions about the delivery and other items i learned from this forum I could tell they were lost. They then told me the name of the new person that would be handling the rest of the sale and how she was very familiar with the bronco and the process. I wrote her an email today asking for the rail number, the price protection information and informed her I had financing already unless they could beat it. I haven’t heard anything back.

Hopefully they are being legit and she has knowledge on the same information we discuss here at least to some degree. Giving the rail number to a customer is super simple and isn't a bother to them. My sales dude has Fridays and Mondays off, so maybe she was just off today and will be in tomorrow and shoot you the rail number and some info about the price protection. If anything, you can send her the direct link to Fords website about it.

I really wish my dealer even faked that he cared more. I don't think there's been a single useful thing I've learned from them throughout this entire process. I do at least have MSRP in writing and signed by him otherwise I would have pulled all my hair out by this point.
Same. My dealer seems very indifferent to the fact that I’m about to buy an expensive vehicle from him. Anytime I email a question (like three times over six months) his response has always been short and blunt. Oh well at least he confirmed I’ll pay sticker price via email and I have a buyer’s order confirming msrp and an ā€œout the doorā€ price.

I saved a screen shot of the information just in case. I wanted to know how they wanted rest of the down so I could get that worked out as soon as I can because of my schedule over the next week. So unless she gets back to me before the bank closes tomorrow my next time I can do anything would be next Thursday šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø.

Thursday is far. When did you ship? You're in PA and I'm in NY, I wonder if the route would be the same by train, at least initially.

Wednesday I got the picture on the assembly line, but it showed shipped before that. I don’t remember which day I saw it exactly but it was before last Saturday.

You got a picture, lucky you! Most people don't get them until after the truck is in their driveway.

It really made my day! But that was another reason I wondered if delivery was closer.

Damn, you shipped early. I'd be itching for information also. Is the dealer far from you? I'd straight go there tomorrow and ask all the questions. I do that all the time at mine, I have no clue how or why my salesman is still so nice to me. I would assume that it may be close to being delivered and time may be of the essence at this point, or one close.

Lol, go in there tomorrow and ask for the lady. If she's not there, then I don't see why someone else couldn't give it to you.
