Iāve been careful not to be a bother this whole time and have only emailed a few times over the last year or so. But when I emailed the old contact in December and didnāt hear back, my biggest fear was the ADM debacle. So I finally called and spoke to the new GM and then sales mgr who assured me they donāt do business like that. However, when I brought up questions about the delivery and other items i learned from this forum I could tell they were lost. They then told me the name of the new person that would be handling the rest of the sale and how she was very familiar with the bronco and the process. I wrote her an email today asking for the rail number, the price protection information and informed her I had financing already unless they could beat it. I havenāt heard anything back. That's a heart sinking feeling. After hearing so many horror stories on here, I am very grateful for my salesman. I met him on accident I guess you could say when I was referred to someone else at the dealership and he overheard how excited I was when I was talking to her about the truck and he stole me. It's my first new car, and if I didn't have a good salesman I would have probably backed out of this out of fear. But he has kept me in the loop every step of the way and gone above and beyond to reassure me that he has my back with the truck. I'm sorry that your situation is difficult, I would be a bit of a mess if I couldn't find out information and felt like just a number rather than a person.
