Looks awsome! I still love mine after a week.

Did they attach the license plate or did you....a little bitter that they attached mine stating "state law" after asked not to so I could find a better location.

So funny story my sales rep texted me and asked if I wanted the plate on or off. I told him if they can leave it off that would be preferable. The person prepping it put it on however they said that because I don’t have the modular front bumper it doesn’t get drilled in so I should be able to pull it off without any visible evidence of it being there. I guess with the modular bumper they have to drill into it.

I drove around for a year in my Ranger that I got from the same dealer as the bronco and it didn’t have the front plate installed and didn’t have any problems. They gave me the bracket and told me I could put it on if I wanted to but warned me that I could get pulled over without it.

I meant to post yesterday but I took delivery of my Bronco yesterday. My dealership had the MSRP at the 2021 MY pricing so there were no issues there. When I took it for a “test drive” while waiting for the trade in appraisal I was stopped at a traffic light and looked in the rear view mirror to see the driver of the car behind me taking a picture. The dealership said I can probably expect a lot more of that.

Here are my 16 (not so easy) steps to getting a new Ford Bronco:

1. Day 1 Reservation - July 2020
2. Waited patiently (mostly)
3. Converted to an order - January 2021
4. ALL the hard tops were recalled
5. Waited for a 2021 build date that never came (I refused to switch to a soft top)
6. Had to resubmit my order for model year 2022 - October 2021
7. Got the email that my Bronco was scheduled to be built - October 2021
8. Build date pushed out over and over again (ugh)
9. Waited more (not so patiently)
10. Got an official build date (woot) - 12/23/21
11. Bronco went into production (finally) - 12/23/21
12. Bronco was built - 01/04/22
13. Waited more (super impatiently)
14. Bronco was shipped to the dealer - 01/13/22
15. Bronco made it to dealer - 01/13/22
16. Picked it up a couple hours later!

After 549 days of waiting I’m super excited to finally see the light at the end of the tunnel and go on crazy adventures in my new Wildtrak Bronco!

9pm update: The factory wheels/tires lasted all of an hour. When my boyfriend got home we took it on a drive. We got a mile down the road and it was already throwing a ton of stones after being in the driveway. So off they came.

More mods and better daytime pics to come tomorrow.

Lockers work. This is horrible footage. Headlights kill the security cam feed. That bank is steeper than it looks though.
