Anybody know if the rail car info stays the same time the entire trip, or do they change rail cars at various points?

Generally it should stay on the same rail car all the way to the destination. They load each railcar for a specific ramp and that railcar will get switched to different trains to get it to its final destination.

That is a good question actually. In my situation, my bronco is coming via CSX but the closest CSX yard according to their online map is in New Orleans, LA and I am in the Houston, TX area.
I assume they will transport overland the final hop?
We have plenty of railroads that come into Houston Obviously.

Inquiring minds want to know...

It’ll just transfer to another railroad to make it to Houston. The railroads interchange these cars all the time to get them where they need to be.

Should be the same railcar all the way. You might need to track through a different railroad’s tracking system, though.
