Adam, I like where you are going with this new design. I would like the ability to mix brands so I can run DD SAE fog SS3 and BD everything else.

we are not offering that as part of our kit - you would need to buy everything ala cart and customize the harness

Okay I've put an order in with my laser cutter to have a set of our new brackets cut out. It's just 1 pair so we can verify the final fitment with stainless steel. We'll have them Friday next week, at which point we'll do a test fit/take some photos to share with everybody here. If all goes well we can move them into the production queue (~2 weeks for cutting/bending and then ~1 week for powder coating)

Looks nice. Any pics of it mocked up on the bronco with this revised design to house the DDs?

Of course
Hanks for reply I assumed so. Question regarding the pod light mount.

for the two lights that are on the inside. It seems to me given they are tucked back a bit that the light would be partially blocked to the right of the left light and the light would be partially blocked to the left on the right light.

Am I mistaken? It seems like all the pod kits I have seen would result in the same. I assume I’m wrong but would like to know.

I may be in the minority but I really like the look of the Baja Designs bracket:

I really like the staggered look with the middle light 1/2" or so lower.

Yes you are mistaking (sorry to say it like that, but you asked lol). You can rotate the light left/right/up/down. We left enough clearance for this so that as you rotate them up/down/left/right it doesn't hit the bracket.

The Diode Dynamics lights have a bracket on them that lets you slide the actual bracket left/right so you can center them as you need to.

The Baja Designs brackets don't allow for this, they just have a hole.

Our bezel bracket allows you to slide the mounted lights forward/back. This gives you forward/back/left/right with the Diode Dynamics (so you can space out the lights however you need to). And with the Baja Designs, you can move them forward/back so they are always centered together in the opening together.

When I designed this I had to account for both light systems, as they use different style brackets and sit at different heights.

In order to make one bracket system that works with all lights, we're including stainless steel spacer blocks, that you can see in the photos. I originally HAD to use these with all the lights because of the flange support on the bracket. But with the new re-design i'll be doing, these will NOT be needed for Diode Dynamics lights. They MAY be necessary with Baja Designs since the Baja Designs lights sit CLOSER to their own bracket, so you need a spacer to drop it down a bit. But we shall see how it works when I re-design the mounting system now to give it more rigidity.

We originally planned to do just this BUT figured we would design the system to work with both Baja Designs AND Diode Dymamics lights (it was a constant request). So if you want to wait 2+ months for that bezel system from Baja, we do sell it :)

Not sure if I want to wait for that, ha. When will this new bracket be ready?
