Don't [ / QUOTE] me on this, but I postulate that only the '21s that were waiting for parts, e.g., on Dirt Mountain, are being delivered. No new ones coming off the line. Everyone else got asked to reconfigure and resubmit for a '22. Had to be done thru the dealer.

Ordered Jan 2021.
Had to re-order as 2022 in November 2021.

Man, I hate being that guy that brings this up in unrelated threads, and not a single bit of ill will towards OP, but seeing a MY22 2dr delivered before my MY21 2dr is just salt in the wound now.

And every single original 2021 order should have been built and shipped (regardless of what year the vehicle ended being called) before ANY 2022 orders were even looked at.

There are a lot of variables, mainly: dealer allocation and parts availability. For instance, a '22 base with soft top and no extras might go out before a '21 with SAS and every option under the sun. When we reconfigured/resubmitted, we refrained from even ordering a roof rack lest that cause production delays.
